Does being poly mean you have a bracket you must fit into and know your angles so you can say "I'm poly-______" so that they know where I stand on all things in the realm of sexuality? If so, where do I go to answer this multi-layered Q&A in order to get my label?
I would love to read or listen to a pod cast on your "constitution". That would be great for others to have some perspective of how they can look as something close to it.
Thanks for your efforts. I want to share, I was immediately turned off when coming to this page b/c of the man between two women picture. So tired of how that's always how polyamory is portrayed. What about putting one of the women in the middle?
I'd still use the label solo poly. Just because you're not with others at the moment doesn't mean you're not solo poly. I would liken it to someone who identifies as monogamous and wants a traditional relationship as someone who is still monogamous. They're just not partnered at the moment.
Same thing they talked about at the start where you can still call your polyamorous even if you aren’t actively dating because the label is about how you approach relationships. You can specify you are solo poly and single if it makes you feel better but if that is how you approach relationships it doesn’t matter if your are single or polysaturated. You would still be considered solo poly
Solo poly here! I’ve found I just live best alone and don’t mesh finances.
I agree with "princess in a tower, or pet with no decision making power" example. That is perfect.

Did we watch the same video? The man is on the left side of the women…
What would you label someone who identifies as solo-poly but is currently single?
