Never found the laundrette on deck 4. Must have been on the odds side. Did find the scenic lift from the Commodore Club. You really wouldn’t know it was there. I’m sure I saw one small sign somewhere saying scenic lift.
Next time I’ll use your tips for the stairways. I was always using the wrong one!! x

Oh How I laughed - right from the introduction. Try saying "ships tips, so, let's have a look at my tips! " after a few hahaha, oh dear me, and I was waiting for the bottle man, replayed the video, several times, asked Dean, what was going on, and he chuckled and told me . he says he wants that photo in a frame for our wall haha. Linzi and Mark, you always make me smile, each and every video, there is something. You bring a whole new, and fresh approach to vlogging, and I absolutely love it. Thanks for this. Some new information I had not seen before. I like shorter videos that have a special theme. I would love to see people break down their UA-cam videos into 4 minute chunks, review what is already available and then have a unique topic or angle. Yours is really good.

How funny - our Cunard tips videos have gone live on the same day - great minds think alike!

At the risk of being an interloper, I'll add my two cents. I've sailed the QM2 for a 15-night TA cruise and back again. It was heavenly, and we're going again next summer, but only for 10-nights TA and on to Hamburg. With that background out of the way, I'll let you know that we had a sheltered balcony cabin last time and loved it so much that it became a requirement for next summer's cruise. Crossing the Atlantic, the winds and waves can be shockingly rough, and the protection from the ship's hull is very welcome. You'll also have the utmost privacy in your cabin and on your balcony.
One thing that is often not mentioned in these videos (but I think should be) is that if you're crossing the Atlantic--no matter the season--it will get very cold. Take a warm jacket or at least a heavy sweater/jumper. You're going to want to walk a few laps around Deck 7 at least once in a while, and you'll be glad for the extra layers, even in August!

@@ajs11201 most definitely not an interloper 😀
Great point re the layers for warmth although wierdly on our TA now on Apex outside has been lovely (lowest day around 19c so far) but inside the ship at night it's been occasionally freezing, so we've had to layer up in there on occasion with what we expected to where out on the deck.
So we completely agree bring Layers on a cruise you never know where or when you'll need them

Loved this video. About the gluten free being separated from kings court, some people are so sensitive to gluten that even a molecular amount of cross contamination (an ovelooked speck on a washed dish, for instance) can make them ill. A friend's child has this issue and they've just all gone gluten free to simplify family life. I suspect that's why they keep gluten free so far away from the rest of the buffet.
