Installing the BeSafe Izi Modular Capsule and Car Seat in a Mini Clubman

Hi, I'm Anita from Global Baby and this is a demonstration video showing you how to install the BeSafe Izi Modular Base, Capsule and Car Seat in the Mini Clubman, using ISOFIX.
You can use the capsule until the baby is 13 kg, or about 1 year old:

Then you would switch to the car seat, which you can use both rear, and forward facing, until the child is 105cm tall:

The really exciting thing about this system is that it uses the same base for the capsule and the toddler seat:

This system is also tested to the new i-size European Safety Standard. This is a higher standard than the previous E44/04.

Thank for the video. Please note, it is safer for the child to travel rearward facing in case of a crash. Even if the seat had the possibility to mount it front facing, do not use it. In the Scandinavian markets this option is not even available on the market.

just remember to remove the mat on the floor otherwise the load leg may shift in an accident

So am I right in thinking you don’t need the front brace for the newborn size car seat?

Correct! You shouldn’t really use front facing even for the toddler seat. When you switch to kid seat (approximately around 5 years old) is when children first could start traveling front facing in the car. 👍

why do u show the base with the round collisionframe for the capsule? that it only included with the RF-seat!

Please don't use front facing as this is less safe for your child
