Museveni's first press conference after winning 2016 election-21 February 2016

President Yoweri Museveni held a press conference at his home in Rwakitura in Kiruhura district after winning the 2016 presidential elections.
During the course of the press conference he congratulated Ugandan's for voting for him and vowed to work towards tackling those issues which he says cost him votes in areas like Kampala and Wakiso districts.
President Museveni dismissed criticism from different observers who said the election was not free or fair.

Your right about economy being the issue and the issue on what rather than who . All said Mr President it is disrespectful of you to accuse Jennifer Musisi for your failures in Kampala . Actually the few votes you got in Kampala were thanks tothe achiever, Mrs Musisi who is well loved in this region. Reexamine yourself but do not accuse completely innocent ,popular ,hardworking and result oriented Musisi , moreover in Public .You lost outright and it had nothing to do with Jeniffer ,it was your underperformance and inadequate delivery.Its advisable for you to make no less than a Public Apology on that one if you would have such courtesy.
