- Today's video is very special. I had the opportunity to sit down with Envy Scooters owner and creator Dinny Spicer and ask questions that YOU GUYS had for him. I picked out some of the best questions that were asked via Instagram and I think we hit the nail on the head a few different times. Sitting down with Dinny and actually interviewing him is something that is extremely rare so I was very happy to be able to share this experience with you all as well as include you in the interview itself. One of the main questions that I thought was a good one to touch on was how to get sponsored by Envy Scooters. Of course, everyone wants to get sponsored, but nobody actually knows what the necessary requirements are. There is not an actual list of requirements, but there is somewhat of an idea of what companies look for in a rider. A few of those things are listed in this video. We asked a few other questions as well and I hope you all enjoy watching and hearing the answers to your questions. Great video Raymond! You never usually see interviews in the scootering industry and especially not with the owner of Blunt. In fact, I've personally never seen a interview with him since the one he did with SkateHut back in like 2013 or something with Brendon Smith talking about Fasen. Great video none the less, and would definitely like to see more videos like these.

I just recently got a SkateBoard and I used to scoot. I was riding for about 5 months and was decent. Then I mainly focused on my board because I wanted to try and do something different. I hadn't really hopped on my scoot for a while, but then you inspired me to try more tricks and now I can do so much more. You're a great guy. Thanks

Man when you guys started talking about things almost a decade ago it really brought some nostalgia to me. I remember finding something on the internet about blunt and some time passed and tried to find it again and couldn't and then found out they rebrand to envy. I remember ordering a bolt kit with the foldable pro model razor. I spent countless hours and days worth of time at the skatepark in my childhood. Seeing everyone from the community back in the day to now is just insane. Raymond I still have your aosv4 sig deck when it first dropped. I can get going on memories and memories. I want to get back into it but being a father and owning a house ect. I cant get hurt but I'm getting to the point where I'm just gonna go ride
Just to add I still have a DVD somewhere that used to come with razors when you bought them
Another thing I just remembered from the old foldable pro model days is I used to pull the little bars out and stick an 18 inch steel bar through and drill holes and put a bolts through so I could have wider bars haha
I remember when i first started riding scooters at rampfest and all over Melbourne back in 09 up until 2013 then transitioning to BMX. Blunt scooter parts were the shit back in the day. So good to see how far they've come.

I would love to get sponsored by Envy. It is my dream. I go to the skatepark every single day from 5-9 hours a day practicing and learning new tricks. I’ve been scootering for 2 months and the best trick I can do is a triple whip, I can almost land a Bri flip and I am trying to learn whip bar. I love scootering. I think it is the right thing for me. I also love seeing younger scooter riders that are learning and trying new tricks and I like to meet scooter riders that are at the same level of scootering as me. yea, envy brakes tend to snap and crack a lot because they're made of mostly nylon. unfortunately, you can only replace envy brakes with more envy brakes. you might be able to put an ethic brake on, but most brakes have 2 smaller bolts.
