I love these tranquil moments. There is so much harmony and pureness in this forest. Thank you very much for this recording, Andrew. Your mic's seem to work excellent.
Thank you) Mics are really good in terms of self noise, and when they are in SASS-like configuration the stereo is quite nice as well, maybe even too much. I should make side by side comparisson with mine Rode NT1 sometime.
@@LookingForSounds Well, i had to cut 3 cars passing by, and one distant plane (which is extremely rare in our area). So it is not perfect here where i live. But having a large airport nearby is simply nightmare for field recordist, thats for sure.

A very nice and peaceful recording Andrew. I wish I had a forest like that close by without annoying background noise of cars, planes, and people.
Thanks! Close relatively quiet forest is a perk of living in the middle of nowhere in a small city)
@@AndrewPhilippov That's perfect. Sadly we have a very busy large airport not far away. I can't record for more than 3-4 minutes in silence.

@@AndrewPhilippov Yup. I did a 6-7 minute recording yesterday and had to chop two large parts out. Gave up in the end due to too many planes.
