I think the problem with why there is no outlaw biker movies about recent events is because there has only been one or two major outlaw events that have happened in the past 10 15 years. Back in the 60s they used to get into wars all the time

My thought was that the purest form of an MC is local friends / brother's club. Johnny's biggest mistake was to open a second chapter and consequently lower the filters.
The best MCs are close knit

@valpostreetart agreed, 6 or 7 guys that meet up at a dudes garage before heading out for a long day of twisty roads and back country restaurants. More than that and shit starts getting complicated.

That's exactly what being a true "1er" is, people think it's about the money, or organised crime, but in it's essence, 1er is about being free of conformity, free to do whatever you want without guidlines imposed. That's what the "outlaw" movement was all about in the 50, 60s.

One thing that does concern me about this movie, in particular. Is I hope people don't mimic by trying to wear the Patches. Because that could go bad really fast. Justin, the fake patches of sons of anarchy. As you've showed. This is real patches of the outlaws Bing used in the movie. So that could really be dangerous for people unaware.

I just saw the movie. I liked it and I’ve been riding atvs, dirt bikes, and motorcycles for over 20 years. I was fortunate that my father was always a rider but most people are not. Any show or movie whether it’s American Chopper, SOA, Easy Rider, Or whatever. Anything that gets more people riding is the most important thing to me. You don’t have to join an MC but as long as you’re on 2 wheels you’re really living life to the fullest now.

My x spouse helped out a couple of Outlaws in Milwaukee. Their clubhouse was near his work. I picked him up after work one and we stopped in a bar up the street for a drink. Long story short, he introduced me to a few of them. Became long time friends with Doc, Weird, Sleepy, Reroy, Bear, and Buzzy. This was over 28 years ago. I hope wherever they are, they are riding in the sun and wind! ❤

I wish that they gave out more of their history lessons bc it's equally if not more important than 81s history as they have already portrayed so much history for themselves... my area of NC is all 15s and it makes me happy to see some of my friends and a big pack all riding together by my house! ( & Norman reidus does resemble Taco some) definitely looking forward to it! 🖤🤘🤍 stay up be safe fly low and beat the radar!

Just saw the movie. It's worth a watch for sure. Couple things though, the leader of the club has the back patch on leading the pack just not anything on front. They address the early days of the club and how the new generation interpreted rules a lot different than the ones who started it all. You'll see that with Cockroach too.

Tom Hardy actually does have his colors on in that scene. It’s not his vest but the shirt he’s wearing has the giant patch on the back. Norman is a huge motorcycle guy so it’s cool to see him in this… he’s actually playing a Hell’s Angel who really came to ride and hang with the Outlaws. His name is Funny Sonny in real life. There was no fighting between the two MC’s in this movie though

Why don’t we talk about how the movie did not make any attempt to reach out to the Outlaws? They could have used them as technical advisors to avoid authenticity related mistakes like the President not riding front left. Perhaps, they could have pivoted the next movie into the forming of the Florida Outlaws by Jim Nolan in 67’. Jim is still active. Jim’s So Flo chapter implicated in 80 murders from 74’ - 84’. Lots of material for Hollywood

So what if they didn’t? You think all FICTIONAL movies that portray fictional versions of real life entities always reach out to the real life version? Of course they don’t. Would it have been better? Maybe, maybe not. Sons of Anarchy had actual 81’s in it and it was as far from reality as you can get. Two things people need to get over. 1.themselves. Nobody owes you shit. And 2. This idea that Hollywood has any responsibility to be accurate. It’s entertainment, and that’s it. It’s not a documentary. Was it a good movie or not? Replicas of the vest are already online. Price is approx $90. It has the 1% Diamond on the front as well as the full Vandals back patch as in the movie. Some of the advertising text for it: “The vest, a testament to rugged individualism, draped over his frame with a nonchalant ease, its faded hue hinting at countless miles traversed under the sun’s relentless gaze. Tailored to perfection, it hugged his form like a second skin, each stitch a silent testament to the craftsmanship that birthed it. As he roared through the city streets astride his motorcycle, Benny epitomized the essence of freedom, his every movement a symphony of raw power and untamed spirit. The denim vest, with its weathered texture and timeless charm, seemed to whisper tales of adventure and escapades yet to come, drawing the curious gaze of bystanders who couldn’t help but be captivated by his aura of unbridled energy. Empowered by the vest’s rugged allure, Benny exuded an air of confidence that bordered on defiance, his gaze meeting the world with a steely determination that brooked no opposition. With each twist of the throttle, he embraced the thrill of the unknown, his denim-clad silhouette cutting through the urban landscape like a lone wolf prowling the wilderness.”

Years ago I used to party with the outlaws, I was beat up real bad and my friend squirrel came by, the next day he came back and about 30 outlaws had the three guys surrounded and told them if anything happened to me they would disappear . Best friends forever. I am a song writer and I have a song for you. Please reply OMC.

I liked the movie however i thought it should have been a half hour longer. I felt like the ending was rushed. What makes these gangster films great is the story telling & attention to detail. This film lacked that but overall I enjoyed it. The acting was great however I wish another director was involved.

I mean this in the most respectful way,
You should’ve made this video after watching the movie because you got some stuff wrong about the movie but I get that you made it before its release while only viewing the trailer.
The movies main message is to NOT join an MC unless you want to live that violent lifestyle but I loved this video nevertheless 🙏🏼

My personal opinion about the downfall to motorcycle clubs in the beginning. It was about the brotherhood a comradery, the excitement, it was rough and then it became something completely else. Like the defect in the movie, the younger guys coming in, we're out of their minds and I honestly believe.
That that clubs couldn't be further from.
The original concept. And like Tom Hardy said, I don't know those guys.
I'm here with this club. Who are my friends? Once you let something get so big, you lose control of it and at loses its meand I think that's what we have today. People wearing the patch who have nothing to do with what it originally was paying no paying no honor to the original geyes except for maybe a club like the booze fighters I would.
One hundred percent be in a club If it were the late 40s, 50s or early 60's Late 60s, early 70s come the drugs and the bullshit. And all the sudden we lose the original concept.Like playing a game of telephone, you whisper. One thing in the beginning.By time it gets the last person it's completely changed is engine and not for the better

Great subject for a movie, was really looking forward to watching it. Loved the bikes and the sixties vibe. It has some great characters and was, in the main, well acted. But in a movie that already had a very low level soundtrack there was waay too much mumbling and whispering which made it hard to listen to. The worst aspect, though, was the pacing - every scene was conducted at a snail’s pace. After just 15 mins I was wondering when things were gonna get a move on, but they never did. It was tedious maximus. I loved the subject matter but the movie could, and should’ve, been a whole lot better. A shame really. A generous 5 out of 10 from me.

I don't know if it'll inspire a new generation to join motorcycle clubs. What I do hope is that it will inspire some of the younger prospects and maybe enough people in and around MC culture to take things back to fists and boots and old school fighting. Fighting with guns between clubs just brings too much heat from the feds. If they went back to fists and boots you'd get less heat from the feds. If you keep it quiet it stays quiet. 🎩 Highway Hobo.
