All you newbies to this band. Thousand Leaves was ended by 2012. Now their new band is Thousand Eyes. Make sure you listen to Thousand Leaves-Black Cloak Skeleton, then thousand eyes-bloody empire. Im happy I have a friend in Japan who got me most of these albums.

best album like ever
Finally got my copy today; definetly a solid record, I'm also particularly impressed by the production, the mixing is flawless. Still can't tell which one i prefer between this and Black Cloak Skeleton but both of them are definetly in my top 10 of 2013.
BTW, I saw your Thousand Leaves reviews on Metallus, good job man. Allthough I strongly disagree with both the rates you gave it's great to see some sign of life the Thousand Leaves, it felt so desolate before.
I'd love to hear this in epic anime fights.

Question: What's your favorite Thousand Leaves album so far? Mine is definitely Lunatic Dawn. It's got the best balance of melodeath and neoclassical/power metal. Floating the Twilight is just LEGENDARY!

God Forsaken is amazing. Like it alot more than this album, actually. Miracle Rain and Never One are just fantastic straightforward melodeath masterpieces, and Solitary Wizard? That song just starts off with soooo much energy.

I own a copy of the Cd and there's nothing like it... maybe you're confusing it with Dead Night Moonlight by Thousand Eyes, a side project of Bach and West Village.

I got it from a website called OtakuRepublic, they ship japanese stuff worldwide. Gotta say their stuff is kinda expensive but for a purchase of over 60$ you get free priority shipping which somehow makes the prices more acceptable.
I don't know what the prices were when you wrote that comment, but "kinda expensive" is a massive understatement in their current state. A used copy of Lunatic Dawn is being sold for 75$. There's absolutely no way I can afford that.

so I just finished listening to all of the albums and based on how many good songs are on each album. this is my favorite albums in order.
1. End of Endless Nights- 6 amazing songs
2. Blind Night Sorrow- 5 awesome songs
3. Blood and Tears- also 5 really awesome songs
4. Lunatic Dawn. - 3 songs I enjoyed.
the rest of the albums I listened to had less than 3 songs I liked each. Im really picky lol.

Oh, c'mon! Noble Vampire is great! lol The best off Blind Night Sorrow is definetly Imperfect Woman though, that keyboard riff is just eargasmic.

I'm pretty familiar with all their metal releases and Dead Night Blind is my favorite. 2 B honest, I don't think they will ever top B.N.Sorrow, D.N.Blind and E.o.E.Night. I'm not one of those who talk shit about the new vocalist, they're still an amazing band but those 3 records r just magic, songs like Imperfect Woman, Rusty Tale (my all time fav) and Vampire Edge are Melodeath masterpieces. Lunatic Dawn is great, definetly a big improvement over Im.Vengeance which is my least favorite by TL.

For me, Blind Night Sorrow has alot of good tracks, but the last three drop the album down abit for me. LED and Liquidarization, the non metal albums aren't that great. Genesis is another non metal album that has four metal tracks that are AMAZING! :D GODS and Daydream have only a few amazing tracks, with the rest being lackluster. Vampire Edge is my favorite song by them as a whole.
