- Olivia Tate was born with Sickle Cell disease and her only chance for a cure was a bone marrow transplant. After searching the Be the Match registry a 100% compatible was found. Sidnei Barbosa registered at a bone marrow drive held by the Icla da Silva Foundation in 2002 and donated bone marrow to Olivia. Both met for the very first time at the Icla da Silva Foundation 2013 Hope Gala in New York City.
I'm 15 and also had cancer when I was 6 years old but I'm all alright now and just want to say thank you to those amazing people donating because if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be alive today ♥️
Thanks for sharing Olivia
God bless u
why would anyone give this a thumbs down?! you'd have to be without a heart to not be touched by this story.
many folks have no heart....gone to the dark side........sold their souls,......................
The parents of the kids that looked at her and said that's a cancer patient, need to have a long talk with those kids
SO sorry!!

Hayat kurtarmak hayat vermek çok güzel bir şey
She is such a sweet child. Lovely family
So happy to see she’s thriving and living a beautiful life! Being a donor is a very beautiful act ❤️
When I said skin color doesn’t mean anything, we all the same ! All racists people should watch this video, very touching!❤️

Sign up to be a donor. It’s not a major procedure; it really isn’t - especially for someone young in their 20s, 30s and 40s.💗

Thank you! But the journey to a cure can be difficult for those with fewer resources.this is why we support those in need.
@@IcladaSilvaFoundation resources?
@@MamaTriedSolo not every patient lives close to a transplant center. We help with travel and accommodations.
Thank you sweet Jesus Christ for carrying people
I love these stories.
