@@yeahbuddy7598 they're insanely unreliable, the most common problem with these v10 motors are the rod bearings wearing down very fast causing the entire engine to blow up.

The S85 Engine from the E60 M5 and E63 M6 is such a masterpiece. That sound, it's almost like an F1 trashing the tarmac. The new gen V8 Engines from the M8 and M5 are all great, but boy are we going to miss those legendary engines

Yes because m6 has big speed error. At high speeds up to 30 kmh plus.
Yep, its pretty cool. I did that this last weekend, but in fifth gear, since I got a six speed gearbox.
@@ron999 yes but these cars can and have hit 200mph+ so there's some left after 300kmph
@@papa_pt yes some people did 335kmh gps with few simple mods. They are fast cars, much faster in top speed without limiter than let say f10 m5 or m6 newer models.

also, during those pulls from 100kmh to 210 it seemed like it was abnormally fast. There's downtime but then OOF this thing gains speed like a freakin witch

This is what the m6 looked like for about 10 years ;)
Its only fast at the top end. It's relatively sluggish down low which is why they went back to the V8. Not as easy to get going in daily driving.

These pulled so hard on top end! I miss my 07 m6 smg, never had a issue for 2 years I’ve owned it besides a few coil packs and throttle body when she sat thought out winter in a garage and not being started, otherwise was amazing car with sound to match!
Just got one. Would you advise letting her sit in winter without starting?

So in winter, keep her stored in the garage, but if it’s very cold in the garage, start her up every week and let her run for 10 min with the heat on high, also make sure you keep Atleast half tank of 93 premium, rev it up a few times, turn the steering wheel back n forth, then cut it off. The issue you can face is letting it sit for months without starting with drain battery, cause throttle body issues, coil packs, steering pump can fail.

The newest e60 M5 is 11 years old. How could you have a BMW warranty? The longest you can be protected by BMW is seven years/100,000 miles

You could pay bmw to get a 305kmh limiter from factory instead. But this one probably has a third party remap.
