Nice Truck! I have a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab 1500 Z71. I am the original owner my truck has 90,600 miles. It’s been pampered and serviced properly. The exterior is pewter and the interior is neutral tan cloth seats with the 402040 front seat. I ordered it that way. It is an LS package, it has transmission color for towing. Extras that I’ve had installed are a fresh set of 4” oval shaped platinum step bars wheel to wheel in chrome/stainless a stainless brush guard, husky liners throughout the truck, line X spray in bed liner with mat on top and a tool box. It will be difficult to part with considering how long I’ve owned it and it’s mainly been my weekend vehicle hints the mileage. I’ve driven a little Toyota car and another truck to work mostly to keep the miles off this truck. I’m scheduled to go a get the windows re tinted in ceramic tint with the advanced UV heat protection and have even considered putting leather in this truck recently. On the other hand the driver seat is the only seat showing normal wear no rips tears stains in carpet or seats. I’m OCD anyway and have been very meticulous with the truck honestly! I really don’t know of one like it anywhere around where I live and from what I’ve seen kinda looking at what’s out there. I should add that the only modification that this truck has had besides magna flow exhaust is the torsion key was turned up a small amount to bring the front up a little several years ago when I went a size up on tires otherwise the truck is stock! It truly looks like it did when I purchased when it was new besides a few rock chips from normal wear. The closest thing it’s seen off the pavement is I have a gravel driveway. I would compare it to the 1998 GMC y’all had not to long ago with 37,000 miles on it. As far as me selling or trading my truck. Honestly, I have been trying to decide if I want to and the vehicles I’ve been looking at are limited because of the way the new ones are made today! If I bought a new truck like mine the first thing I would do is delete the fuel management and cylinder deactivation mess they’re putting on them. I have a sunset orange 2001 LT that I put a refurbished engine in approximately 4K miles ago it has 387,200 miles on it I am going to replace the transmission when it needs it, but figured I run it till it needed swapping. I have never owned a dodge but I have friends and relatives that have them a they are good trucks from what I hear. I have mainly owned Chevy and Toyota products but I try to be knowledgeable about the others as well. Sorry for the lengthy text, I’m kinda on the fence part of me wants something a little newer and the other part is saying keep your truck it’s a nice rig and like a mentioned I the original owner. If I part with my truck I 100% won’t be giving it away. I’m a reasonable person, but I’ll keep it till I die before I just sell or trade it for some low ball price! Any helpful input would be much appreciated! Thanks! You mentioned surgery I’m fixing to have to have my right foot/ankle fused because my arch is totally gone out on me, so I know how the previous owner of this dodge feels to a certain degree! I was told about 6 months to be back to normal if everything goes as planned! Not looking forward to that!
