Backsliding is a scary position to be in. Trust God, not yourself. Our God is good and won't let you down. Jesus lives ♥️ and is God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ and King 👑

Very Painful.. to watch, live and Observe.. these desperate and fallen People. Having reached out to A Pastor Who knows them.. this resulted in Betrayal to me! God Bless you, Pastor Guzik
Both lukewarm and backsliding are used to describe spiritual conditions, but they represent different aspects of faith and commitment. Being lukewarm refers to having a tepid or indifferent attitude towards one's relationship with God. It signifies a lack of fervor, passion, or commitment in one's spiritual life. Someone who is lukewarm may go through the motions of religious practice, but lacks genuine sincerity or wholehearted devotion. Backsliding, on the other hand, implies a deliberate choice to move away from one's previous level of faithfulness, belief, or one's practice of them. A backslider refers to someone who has once been wholeheartedly committed to their faith, but has since regressed or turned away from it. This regression can manifest in various ways, such as a decline in prayer, Bible study, or spiritual discipline. In summary, while both lukewarmness and backsliding involve a lack of spiritual fervor, lukewarmness typically describes a passive indifference or apathy towards faith, whereas backsliding involves a conscious turning away from previous convictions or practices. Someone who is lukewarm may never have had the previous level of sincere dedication that a backslider has had, but a person who is backsliding consciously moves away from the Way (often slowly, but surely). -Enduring Word Team
What is it when you read and the messages aren't as vibrant as when you were a new believer? I don't believe I should feel guilty when I'm also reading that it's a daily battle to surrender, and some days your old self will win. I should just remain faithful I believe no matter what rather than feel guilty
@@tma32 praying for you to get the spark back in your faith.. I was committed, then serving God full time, then lukewarm, then backsliding, and it's a weird journey back. I would say to just be honest with God and tell Him you're trying but things aren't as exciting anymore, but you still love Him. I realize now I missed an important warning signal when things of the Lord stopped touching my heart and being exciting to me.. I should have stopped and prioritized my relationship with God then rather than allowing myself to go back into sin. The Lord will hold on to you if you choose to sin, but it's pretty painful and will alienate you from everyone you know and love..

Much different than a lukewarm?
