I can remember her books on a bookshelf in my small Bible bookstore. I watched as her books were added and filling the entire shelf and more. Your books have made a difference in my life. God bless you!
The true Pioneer of Christian fiction for women is not very well known today. Her name was Grace Livingston Hill. She wrote contemporary novels in the early 1900s up until the 1940s. A few of her books were historical and set in the 1800s but most of them were contemporary. She was a wonderful writer and wrote over a hundred books. Then I believe there was a huge gap in this type of writing until Jeanette Oake came on the scene. These two women are two of my favorite writers of all time
I absolutely love Grace Livingston Hill. I grew up reading her books over and over because I couldn’t find very many books like hers. Thank you for reminding me of her writing! ♥️♥️♥️
My mother started buying them with book 1. I was 10 and she would buy them as they came out and I got to read them second. She passed away in 2015 and I received all of her Janette Oke books. I grew up and was shaped by Love Comes Softly, Canadian West, once Upon a Summer. I began my writing career with prairie romance in 2000. I honor her with all my heart
As a new bride coming from Florida to the barren frigid flat prairie of Manitoba Canada 40+ years ago..her books saved my sanity. We're still married. Living the life in Portugal 😊
How Wonderful ❤. What a woman! Beautiful. Thank you again for this interview . Love listening to this and Michael Landon. Who were the other 2 people in the first interview , maybe I missed their name ? All so awesome ❤❤
Would like to hear her and her agents talk about the dramatic adaptations of the LCS series for Moody Radio. Late 80s/90s. Those characters really came alive for me in that way, though I also read the books one by one, waiting eagerly as each one came to my library! I made some important spiritual decisions in those years, partially through this influence. Please tell your "Grandma" Jeanette! Thank you for introducing her to me through this video! Well done.
So excited to hear from her again! Thanking God for her strong testimony…
