Please help support this museum www.clarkgablefoundation.com. and please do yourself a favor, and go see it in person.. i only showed a small part of the entire massive collection they have
I use to work in St Ann's group home in Los Angeles California and there I met Clark G love child, a councilor. She told me the story that her mom was one of his lover when he was married. She got pregnant and Clark never wanted to accept the child. So she grew up not knowing her father. The resemblance was definitely there. She was a very attractive woman, she had the long ears, and looked like Clark as a female.
Probably Judy
Yay! this is so awesome! thank you for sharing ❤❤
I’ve been there! Dragged my hubby and 2 kids along too.
Lol
We were driving from Ohio to Pennsylvania and I diverted us that way!
I googled her and Yes. Judy! Omg... She was such a nice woman.
Thank you so much for doing this!!! Clark Gable is a distant cousin of mine. My great grandfather did his tombstone. We have a hand written family tree, by Clark Gable, that ends with my dad. Thanks again!!!
Thank God there are people who save the past. We all think of movie stars and Hollywood as where they are in our minds. But these little towns where they grew up, those are the people that truly are proud of one of their own and they preserve them for all of the fans to catch a glimpse of them. That is a nice museum. Well taken care of and it is sooooo awesome, all those hand prints by people that mostly are gone now too. Even those should be in side in a museum! Oh, thanks for putting Jah in there at the end. He show you what living is all about! Playing! Love ya Jah!
Very well said, Sandra!!
We visited Clark Gable's Museum on September 3 of this year. It was the fourth time we have visited it and there have been some updates since our first visit many years ago. It is a great place to visit especially if you are a Clark Gable or Carole Lombard fan. They have a little room upstairs dedicated to the memory of Carole Lombard. A note to Jordan the Lion: Your video is very comprehensive, professional, and for people who cannot make it to the Museum, a wealth of information about this top star of his generation! Many stars had a hardscrabble background before making it big in the movies and Clark definitely was one of them! I appreciate this online video because I know there are many who browse the Internet looking for such information because they aren't able to travel to places like this. The glass bottom beer mug...I do not recall hearing that explanation and it's fun to know! I so agree with Sandra Nokes remarks. When we were there, we also drove on to view the boyhood home in Hopedale, and the present owner was out mowing the lawn! Thank you again, Jordan, for the Vlog!! Stay safe.
Big thank you to the museum itself. They don't allow recording there, but when I called and explained how big of a Gable fan I was, and that even I hadn't known it was there; that I just wanted to show enough to make people aware, so they'll come.. they did relax their rules and allowed me to film some things!
Clark Gable was 1 of the best actors of all time...!,,..to have all of the items from his childhood all the way up to career is astounding..thank you Jordan for going to this museum..
What a treasure trove of Gable owned items! I actually got to see my favorite actor’s 1954 Cadillac, dog tags, wings, and sled. The Carole Lombard section was moving. I will definitely support the Clark Gable Gift Shop and Museum. Oh, if we could have read Calvin’s mind as Jah was speeding through his space, what entertainment that would have been. 🦁🦋🦁
Clark Gable was the Commanding Officer during WWII of a man I took care of here in Charleston WV. Donald O'Connor was also in the same Air Force unit in Las Vegas NV. Very exciting vlog! Thanks so much!
Hat's off to The Clark Gable Museum for letting you vlog, what nice people, and what a great museum. I'm so happy that his homes are in such good shape, well the one in Hopedale, and the recreation of his house in Cadiz was beautiful, thanks again to the Clark Gable Foundation. BTW, seeing Jah having so much fun should tell you that you really need a bigger place. Thanks for the great vlog.
Gone with the Wind one of my all time favorite movies to watch!!!
Nice museum in Clark’s honor. Enjoyed seeing Jah racing around with his buddy ❤️🙏🏻🐕🦺💎
I'm not in the least surprised that they allowed you to vlog Jordan, you do it so beutifully and respectfully, lot of private things so wonderfully set out, Clark Gable to me was a mans man, the car wow, the art, and yes lol the glass bottom beer mug to view the ladies 👀, never a Groundhog Day from you Jordan love it Thankyou fab vlog yet again xxx
VERY WELL PUT!!
gable is o different from brad pitt a ladies man
Clark gable great actor,a man's man
Can you imagine the road trips Mr. Gable took in this roadster....
I was only 7 when he died. I'd seen enough of his work to make me a fan. My mother and I shared a "passion" in watching his movies. We both were shocked at his early death, mom talked about it and him for a long time. Still enjoy his movies! Thanks for sharing this! 👏👍❤️😊
His grandson just passed.
Clarke Gable III. One of the hosts of the tv show Cheaters.
So sad. That family has a long history of substance abuse.
Wow thank you for this!! I live an hour away and never knew about the museum.....road trip!! Luv Jah :)
Wow that’s so amazing! I have driven a dump truck past the Clark Gable museum for years. I never thought it would be much to see and now that has all changed. I will definitely be planning a visit this summer. Thank you for your insightful visit to my little corner of the great state of Ohio.
Absolutely go see it! Tell them you saw my video because they were originally apprehensive to let me film because they were afraid nobody would come see it if I vlogged it
Bless his heart. I don't believe he ever got over Carole.
Received my package with James Dean comb and change purse. This weekend is my High School Reunion so these items were right on time. (50th anniversary). Thanks for thinking of me. Belinda in NC
You are very welcome!
Good Morning Jordan! What a great museum! I remember going to see Gone with the Wind with a neighbor girl and I mentioned that Clark Gable was not very good looking and her mother assured me that if I didn't like Clark Gable before the movie I would love him after I saw the movie and she was right! I did fall in love with him! So cute watching Jah trying to get Calvin to chase him and Calvin looking at him like he was a crazy dog! Loved this vlog!
Very interesting and enjoyable. You do the best job with the blogs, especially the ones you are a dear fan of. I like the way you describe items you consider special. Love the museums. Country singers are some of my favorite blogs. Thanks for a well done job.
I just went by Hopedale and Cadiz on my way home from Pittsburgh. This and the Coal miner's museums are places I will visit very soon; possibly this week.He was such a wonderful talented man and Carole was just stunning.
Clark Gable is one of my favorite actors! Really cool video! I love how the kitty cat just stared at Jah running around like a nut. lol!
I used to live in Lancaster Ohio. And I didn’t know about this great place in Cadiz
How nice of them to let you video.
I'm a big Clark Gable fan. In the late 90's, I went with a friend and her daughter. That 3-D GWTW art piece you show @3:47 into your video--got there because of me. Just prior to coming to Cadiz, I visited an art gallery in Murray Hill, an Italian section of Cleveland, Ohio deemed LITTLE ITALY. The artist had glossy 8 x 10 copies of this 3-D work. When I brought a copy of his advertisement, I gave it to the cashier, who graciously thanked me. The next thing I knew, I received a beautiful thank you note from the people who ran the museum at that time--the artist had donated the piece to the Clark Gable Museum. I'm still thrilled that I played a role in having it included there. I remember we ate at a little diner, walking distance from the museum. I see they've added some great stuff since my visit, like Carole Lombard's photos and personal possessions. During my visit, Judy, Clark's daughter, had not yet been invited to her father's birthday. I'm glad they finally included her--how could anyone doubt she was Clark's child when you see her face? Your video is great. Thank you for helping me think about my visit to the King's home. Did you know Clark was buried with Carole Lombard? His last wife Kay gave her permission, and she is buried close by.
That's awesome!
Great job covering Clark Gable' s museum. I would love to see it in person. I live in Ohio, so it's on my bucket list! Thanks!
Thank you so much Jordan 🥰 for the vlog of Clark Gable. I love to see Jah zooming around! And Calvin was so COOL 🐈 cat. Even though it was YEARS ago. Always enjoy your trips wherever you go😊
I have wanted to go there for years, so glad I stumbled upon this great video and tribute you did! I need to start planning. Thank you for this lovely video, Jordan!
What a great museum!!! I could spend hours in there. My favorite actor of all time. The drive was so worth it. This is definately on my bucket list! Thank you so much for this amazing vlog!!!

Loved Clark Cable!!! When men weren't afraid to be men!!!!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
WOW !!! How kool is that. Actually having a museum in a replica house Clark Gable lived in. What a smooth looking caddy. So luv en enjoy these places we go Jordan.
Thank you so much to the Clark Gable Museum for this wonderful opportunity. I'm telling everyone about this place ! Ohio has so many cool sites to see I think a road trip this spring is in order. This Museum is definitely on the list. Thank you for letting me know about it. Oh Jah you make me laugh !!!
We, they say "the best things come in small packages" and that is certainly true here. What a fabulous Museum, and it houses so many wonderful pieces of Clark Gable memorabilia and treasures in a small space. I loved his PJ top, sledge, the hand prints from 'Gone With The Wind' stars, oh, and the Carole Lombard section aswell. Oh, how funny were Calvin and Jah running about, I bet he'll sleep tonight. Brilliant vlog again Jordan.
I only found your channel recently and i'm hooked. I live in Ireland so I will probably never see any of the places you vlog so thank you so much. You are just so original and nice 💕
😍Massive thanks for this beautiful video, my Dad was a obsessed with the king’s films. I know all the story how he was crowned as a king 👑. Now me and my sisters are keeping the legacy.😍
Wonderful vlog full of things that belonged to Clark. Thank you to the museum for letting Jordan film inside. Lots of great information on Clark Gable and some things on Carol Lombard too. Love the Caddy. I bet Clark had a great time riding around in that. It was funny to watch the cat just sit there and watch Jah tear around the house. The cat is like" What the hell got into you?" just so funny to see. Thank you Jordan for taking us to the museum and being respectful while filming things for us to see. I'm quite amazed how you get to film things when filming isn't normally allowed. Just shows how good you are at this. Can't wait to see where we go tomorrow. Take care for now.
Watched this from London. Fantastic opportunity to see this fabulous museum. Huge Gable fan and Golden Age Hollywood.
OMG! This is about a three hour drive from my home in Loveland, Ohio and I had no clue it existed! Now that things are opening back up my family will have to make a road trip to see this. Thanks for the vlog!
More toward his teen years the family lived in Yale, Ohio north of Alliance (Rt 14 and Rt 225 extention) - the house is there.
I loved this! Clark Gable just oozed charisma and Gone With The Wind is my favourite film!
(However, my favourite part of the vlog was seeing Jah running around - made me laugh out loud!)
Love clark Gable my favorite actor of all time👍🏻👍🏻💋💋
Awesome vlog, I had no idea they had that museum there. I would love to go see it sometime. I've always adored Clark Gable, he was a wonderful actor, and a great man. I love his car, I could just see him cruising around in that beauty. Thank you Jordan. A+ ❤👍
They didn't call him the King for nothing. He was and will be the King of Hollywood movies forever.
Absolutely fabulous video! My personal thanks to those who let Jordan film inside and show us these wonderful treasures! Excellent, Jordan!
There used to be a full length poster of Gable at the Wendy's in Cadiz.

You did an excellent job with this video, Jordan! Very informative as usual. I think you are doing more for history than any other vlogger out there. You have certainly educated me!
I try to make it worth everyone's time.. I see far too many videos on youtube that waste my time... I dotn want to do that to other people
My nana played a big part in my childhood, one of her loves was old (to me) films, Saturday afternoon's usually spent watching the greats of, cary grant, James Stewart, Katherine Hepburn, etc. and Clark gable. so glad that museum let you film loved the carole lombard bit, can't believe it's the only Clark gable museum collection, great find,

Good morning!!!! Two years later, great video 😁🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Love that caddy! I'm amazed at how they re-created everything and those impressions in front of the house were great too!
This is so cool. Thank you so much for taking the time. Brother, Jah sure is a hoot ! So full of energy and loves to show off.
There is the jah-ster 🐾🐾🐾🐾 I'm so fascinated by the stories of old-Hollywood 🎬actors, sets, 🎞actual places where movies, tv shows were filmed🎥. Thanks, Jordan 🦁
That was wonderful! Thank you and thank you kindly to the museum for allowing us in. :) If I'm ever there I'm definitely going! :-D
Thank you Jordan, that was an absolute masterpiece! I love the old days when jah would crawl out from underneath the blankets and today was running around like a little crazy puppy that was a lot of fun!!!!!!
Clark Gable was a great actor of my grandmother‘s time … actually an actor of all time…..
Yes, there are things there showing he was a staunch Republican. Carole Lombard was a Democrat, huge supporter of FDR. They uh, disagreed on politics!
Thank you Cidoz Museum and Jordan. Excellent tour!
Sorry for any spelling errors.
I grew up in the small town of Bloomingdale, Ohio, about 5 miles east of Hopedale and about 12 miles east of Cadiz. My great Uncle John used to talk about playing basketball with Clark Gable in the town hall building here in Bloomingdale. They were of an age.
Jordan, I just finished watching this beautiful video tour u did of the iconic Clark Gable's museum. Ever since I was a little girl the 1970s I fell in love with Clark Cable and his films. Especially Gone with Windows and his last film with Marilyn Monroe THE Misfits which was a real sad film. Watching ur video brought me to tears. Ty u for sharing. 🐎🐎🏇👍❤😊
Awesome vlog Jordan. The car is beautiful. 💙💙💙✨✨✨✨
I did not realise his connection to Loretta Young but I love The Bishop’s Wife with Loretta and Cary Grant. Great vlog!
Great vlog as always!
Do you know Cadiz is only minutes away from steubenville which is Dean Martin's hometown.
They have a festival every year and a mural.
There's a future vlog idea.
Robert Urich is from Toronto, Ohio which is only minutes away also.
Wow!!! Mind COMPLETELY Blown!!! I LOVED this Vlog! Beyond cool! How wonderful of the museum to let you Vlog!! GREAT work my friend!! Love your mustache too!! A great tribute to Clark!! PS the footage of mad man JAH with Calvin the cat was a wonderfully hysterical way to end the vlog!
What an honor for you that they allowed you to vlog inside!! Great job.
This is only a little over 2 hours from my house, definitely going to take a trip!
I live about 1 hour from here and never knew it existed. I will be sharing this. Thank you Jordan.💙
Your dog was playing around with a kitty. How cute!
Awesome vlog! Gable is one of my favorites so this certainly was a treat.
I was really looking forward to this vlog this monring. Clark Gable is from an era that I love so much! There were some very unique items there on display...and in prestine condition!
Great vlog he is of my favorites to and both my mother and sister adored him. You going to put up your new poster? Jah sure was having a blast. As always thank you Jordan
Enjoyed learning more about Clark Gable. I Especially enjoyed Jah roaring around with his new feline friend. Jah is a joyful little guy🤗🤩
Привет из России. Я полюбила фильмы старого голливуда. Очень интересно было увидеть дом музей Кларка Гейбла.
Great video!! I would like to say that the photo of Clark with Roy Rogers at the golf course was in Apple Valley,CA. Those craggy rock hills. Lots of the legendary stars spent weekends at the AV Inn.
We were there two Yeats ago, but sadly the museum was closed. Great vlog Jordan
Great vlog. I just loved those two together. It was so sad she died so young. Sad for Clark also. Carol was my favorite actress and the fact we did not get to see her age gracefully was just tragic. Favorite movie My Man Godfrey.
Big hug from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Patrícia
I had no idea this museum was there. Its an amazing museum. I learned something new today. Thank you for sharing.

I had visited Clark Gable's house awhile back, great museum to visit.
Jordan an absolutely awesome vlog on the King so amazing!! Ty for my stuff so very thoughtful ! Read a book a few years ago about Carole Lombard called Fireball very good all about her last days !!! You would enjoy it !!!
Embarrassed to say I had no idea Clark Gable was a fellow Buckeye. Nice of them to let you share, I have a day trip to make!
Have you read or heard of the book, “Fireball: Carole Lombard and the Mystery of Flight 3”, by Robert Matzen? I highly recommend reading it as it offers an pretty accurate historical account of what happened between Lombard and Gable prior to and during her trip to Indiana to sell war bonds. Apparently, she actually tried to get Gable to accompany her on the trip as his home town wasn’t far from hers. He refused to go with her as he was working on a film with Lana Turner. This created much strife between them and was never resolved due to her tragic death. Based upon Matzen’s book, while on her trip, she kept trying to call Gable at home or the studio but he was either never home or didn’t want to answer. I think this also fueled her impulsiveness to rush back to LA in order to get resolution on the matter. She also didn’t trust Gable with his young new costar. I wonder if she had not died whether their marriage would have endured that long due to his many dalliances with other women.
Anyway, 3 of those posters and photos look very familiar as I used to collect a ton of stuff on Gable from my teens to my late 20’s. I had the full length poster of him as Rhett Butler, the one of him as Rhett playing poker, and the younger one of him wearing the hat and dark pinned suit from a Call of The Wild film still. The other photos of him I remember being in a book about all of his films. I always liked the one of him wearing a white long shirt, jeans, and a western hat posing with his beloved horse Melody inside the barn. And I remember having many other books and photos as well as that 1961 Life Magazine issue that offered an interview with him as he was filming The Misfits.
His son John Clark used to race motorcycles and other terrain racing vehicles. He evidently inherited the need for speed from his father. But he looks more like his mother. I wonder if Gable’s alcoholism was also passed down to John Clark? I heard from some “inside” sources that he isn’t doing too well these days. John’s son got into some trouble a few years ago but seems to be doing better. I’m not sure about his daughter, though. It must be difficult growing up only knowing your famous father through films and stories.
Long Live The King! LOL
Found it ahhhhhh love it. I am going back when it’s opened.
I'm. Loving all this. I watched. His movies growing up. Especially love the caddy.
Thank you for sharing this video. Planning to visit this year. I'm from Pittsburgh, so it's not too far away. Can't wait to see everything they have on display, especially the hand prints, and his Cadillac.
Wow! I loved this! I too am a huge Clark Gable fan! I have that life size poster of Clark that I bought about 35 years ago in Akron! Thanks for this Jordan :)
