oh.. thank you . I am always trying to find the best.. Also I must say that in Africa many people are very sensitive... In Europe we are used (and we want) to show the bad parts, so we know where we must improve... But in Africa it is different.. People want to show only the nice. Very notable is the obsession with malls :D..
For me Swakop is a number 1! I felt so comfortable and also very safe! But I am still yet to visit Cape town ;).. So maybe the list will get mixed up soon :D.. Apart from that, I like Windhoek a lot and also Stone town on Zanzibar island... It is this kind of old dirty city, but the history, the streets... really charming (though I would not like to live and work there... commuting must be a hell etc..).. Same applies for Nairobi. I was also surprised with Addis Abeba. There is a very nice centre. Also Lamu in Kenya has it´s charm. In Tanzania I really liked Kigoma and Moshi (though there isn´t really anything, I just felt so comfortable..). I also liked Blantyre for the mountains and Uganda has a special place in my heart.. There are many beautiful places. I just hope they will copy and get so neat and clean like Kigali one day. Kigali is also a place I could imagine living at.. Oh.. Just now as I am thinking.. I enjoyed Lodwar and Nakuru in Kenya, Vilanculos in Mozambique, Santa Lucia in SA... ufff... so many :D OMG.. just stop me, or I´ll be here making the list the whole night :D :D ... An estimated 90 to 95% of Afrikaans vocabulary is ultimately of Dutch origin .Trust me there is no such a language called afrikaans it is just dutch from dutch diaspora no matter how different it is from netherland dutch it is still dutch . In Namibia you also find german and english diaspora ask yourself why it is bogus to change their identity like dutch diaspora has tried to do ? If afrikaans was a language dutch tourists wont be able to speak it fluently as they do once in Namibia.
