A couple pieces of info/ advice if you're thinking about visiting Hoover Dam. 1.) Get there early, before they open up the visitor center. As you can see in the video, it gets very busy and the traffic really backs up. 2.) As this driver found out, you can no longer exit on the Arizona side. You have to go back the way you came. I have to hand it to him/ her for cutting through Boulder City and getting back onto 93 that way. That left turn just before the "Welcome" archway can be tricky. If you do leave early, it should take about 30 minutes (give or take) to get there from Vegas.

Pretty good video, wish people would stop doing time lapse and let the video run like this, this is a great one.

Thanks for an awesome video. I also love that you posted in real time. I have a program where I can slow the time lapse ones down but...they always turn out choppy. Does ANYONE know of a posting from Santa Fe New Mexico to Colorado Springs?

would love to know if Anything is ever to come to those two tall polls that are right across from the Luxor, heard that those were supposed to be part of another wheel like the HIgh Roller at the Linq, but for Years now, thats as far as they have gotten.......

It doesn't take 3 Hours to get from Las Veags to Hoover Dam. Does it? Take 15 North to Downtown where you will connect to US 93/95 South. US 93 will take you to Hoover Dam.
Coming from someone living in Los Angeles.

I have been to VEgas Numerous times, and there is always so much traffic on the strip + they have pretty much all of the signal lights set so that each direction has EXTRA amount of time Compared to a smaller city, or to put it more bluntly, I had at times sit a signal light for so long that my cars engine actually started to slowly Overheat, just watched my temperature gauge slowly move towards the HOT position and that had never happened before until I came down to Vegas for the very first time......

let me put it to you this way, I usually go don in August right in the middle of Vegas's Summertime, and taking the intersection of Tropicana and the strip as a example here, there is always pretty much so much traffic that at that intersection, Signal Maintence if that's what they are called there, have the lights set that each direction stays green for so Dang long all because of all of the traffic that my car tends to start to Slowly overheat because it has been sitting there for so long at the light....that's pretty much how bad traffic is usually there, it may be different when summer comes to an end and all of the main tourists have done their trip...
