@@ThatReadingGuy28 Hate to say it, but Isaiah is 100% right. Glossies - incl. the //s - are a mass produced retail item. By comparison, the full 15/16 glossy set with McD is a $15 item.

Wow.. tins were my favorite way to get young guns. I'm gonna have to switch to retail boxes because they still have 24 packs. The tin looks awesome so I will probably get one just to save. Great video and nice glossy pack.
Just got one of these items. Pulled a Jack Hughes YG and an Adam Fox YG along with Cale Makar from the OPC pack. How much better would it have been if three packs hadn't been all base cards, I wonder...

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm fairly new to the world of hockey cards. What is better, the retail or hobby? I don't see the difference other than the home and away jerseys?
I'd rather have the 12 pack tins with the giant cards, they are great for getting autos if you end up pulling a player you like. Plus more Young Guns, not as much as hobby of course but I agree you should have gotten another one. Loved the music you played with the Dahlin card by the way.
Unboxed my second hobby box today... skipping out on the tins this year, they’re only 9 cards and you can’t get Pure Energy or really anything crazy. Tins are good for when that one aunt asks what you want for Xmas...

This year they have home or away jersey variations for some players, upper deck didn’t say what the cards were limited to but Beckett’s forum rumours said they’re out of 10
When are you announcing the winner of the 300 cards or 1000 cards idk how many cards both the most recent won when are you gonna announce the winner?

The copper opc glossy must be pretty hard to pull. I didnt pull one in any of my tins.

Just hate that Upper Deck is forcing you to buy either retail, or hobby boxes. It's pretty much pointless buying a tin at Walmart if it's the same price again, and you only get 8 packs. And i prefer the jumbo card over the useless bonus pack you get

Lol, I saw that too on the checklist. I think upper deck would actually think to put only 1 yg in the canadian tins only so they can screw them. Upper deck knows Canadians love their hockey cards so they try to screw them. Here in the states they have to put at least 2 yg in the tins or nobody would buy them. People in the states are not as rabid about hockey cards because they collect mainly baseball, basketball and football. Matter of fact if it wasn't for Canada, Upper Crap would go out of business.

The person beside me at my LCS pulled a sandin tonight when we bought packs at the same time. I was saltyyyyyyy.
So basically tins are the same as blaster where if only they could put a jumbo young guns could be good but seriously they skipped a young guns almost every tins thats trash

Thanks for sharing. I will not buy these tins. Being that Upper Crap is not the same imaginative company it use to be, why would what they did shock anyone. If they want to save money then cut the tins out, this isn't the cup. Reduce the base cards in a pack or just get rid of them, nobody cares about the base cards anyway. I struggle to sell a series 1 base sets at shows for $3.00. Go to a retail pack in a small hangar pack for 20.00 or higher. They could put 10 base cards, 5 inserts, 3 young guns and something else to make a 20 card pack. Just ideas here, but you would think that the think tank at Upper Crap could figure a way out to come up with something that works and is fair for both parties. Taking away or shorting people is NOT the way not to go. It always leads to disaster. Does it cost more to make a young gun card rather than a base? Who is Upper Crap trying to kid here. This is why I quit buying thier garbage years ago. Dont buy this stuff, force them to change or go away.
