DDP is a hero. He's one of very few people who is unanimously loved by everyone he ever worked with in the business, whether they got along with him at the time or not, literally nobody in any industry, in any walk of life will ever say anything bad about him, regardless of if they ever had issues or not.

@@kennethshaw8890 Back in the early 2002's, after Vince bought WCW, they booked all the WCW originals in hokey, silly, or downright disrespectful story angles - mostly involving getting squashed by WWE guys. DDP got hit super hard when they gave him this creepy stalker gimmick where he'd follow Undertaker's wife around for weeks until Taker squashed him in a super one sided match. He even had to take a pin from Sara (Taker's then-wife) live on air.
Rumor has it that Taker himself had some say so in the booking of that program, pretty much vetoing any ideas that made him look weak. Truth is it was mostly Vince being petty as hell and Taker just running with it. People blame him for not taking Vince to task and protecting these genuine legends despite probably having the power to do so. At the time, Taker was more interested protecting WWE homegrown talent (Lesnar, Orton, Cena, Heiden, etc.).
Taker and Dallas have made up since then, but since Taker never offered an official apology, some people are still a little green about it.

I believe it was because of how he blamed WCW as a whole for what the management did to him, back in the day. A lot of former WCW talent who switched to the WWF/E seemed to takeout their rage on wrestlers who were popular there. Austin and Bradshaw (Austin supposedly to a much lesser degree) were also said to have been a little harder on them then they are on wrestlers from other companies. And after that, it would just keep going out, and I'd be jacked up until a Chiropractor would pop me back in. Decided to try his system, and literally just did that for a year, no weights at all. Didn't lose any muscle, and eight years later, my SI joint has only gone out once. And even then it wasn't that bad. Just incredible stuff.
