That is super cute and it’s given me a project idea; to make a city-scape wall piece using wall tiles, each piece being it’s own little slice of life, having their own colour pallets and settings. Love it!

Yooooooo I did NOT know you could do THAT much with foam board. I use it a lot too but the carving details u put into it are 😍
This was a really awesome tutorial! I never thought of doing something like this, but you have given me a great idea for something. I never paid attention to the foam board at Dollar Tree, but I think, after seeing this, that I'll go there and get some board so I can try something like this! Came out great - and had no idea about using a foam cutter like that. I'm gonna see if it's cost effective - if so, I might pick one up, too! Came out really nice. The only thing I would change - is something you already pointed out - I would paint the muntins before gluing them to the glass. The little texture rollers you made for this were so cute - and a clever idea.

I think the watercolor-esque interiors were a good idea. You can add visual interest through randomness and contrasting/complimentary colors to draw attention but not let they eye resolve it into a technique or identifiable shape. Which is exactly what you accomplished.

Honestly this was so helpful. I want to build a 12 Grimaldi place (from Harry Potter) for my bookshelf, but I have a really hard time with scaling buildings down and keeping the proportions correct and it honestly never occurred to me to print a flat image and work off of it so thank you for this

The leaves look great! As a Midwest/East coast transplant to Ca, even after all these years I still look for fall leaves and wish for the crisp coolness we just don’t get in SoCal (except for the mountains. I try to go to Big Bear for my autumn fix). The brickwork also looks good. The book store reminds me of some buildings in Pasadena. Looking forward to this whole series.

I love the way your leaves turned out! I'm very OCD myself and I don't know that I would have noticed that much of a difference if you had hand placed all the leaves 😉Something I've seen another crafter do that might help with your brick facade. You can actually put acrylic paint in that filler to color it, and it will also thin it down a little bit. That way, it not only covers your foam, but it keeps the detail as well.

This is a lovely simple idea but seems easyly within reach so everyone can try. A happy video from you as alwasy - thank you. I keep on wanting to do a similar thing with some london buildings but have never got around to it - maybe I need to do it your way then I might actually make one...
It was a fun build! Then I put them on my shelf for safe keeping but I actually really liked the way they looked there so now I’m thinking of using them like a piece of art! I say go for it! 😁
