Nobody can say that this is a base variant from front and rear since it get's drl , led rear lights from the base so well done by Volkswagen and my recommendation if you can add reverse parking camera as a genuine accessory from Volkswagen
Yes it doesn’t look like base model. Yes I will get camera if available for right price. Because quality of that camera isn’t really great at all.
But for sure I would like to have fog lamps installed

I got 17 inches alloys in my Skoda Rapid 1.5 TDI MT and there was no day when i didn’t regret my decision of getting 17 inches as my cars steering rack broke after sometime coz of the alloys and there was no comfort left in the car. My car used to look like a muscle car but whats the point when you have no comfort, the steering gets heavy and low profile tire gets punctured easily so guys think before getting oversized alloys

Yes bigger wheels aren’t really an upgrade tbh. So stick to stock setup or just get good quality wheels which are also light weight and less wide

17 inch is too big for a sedan. Such a lower rubber wall will damage suspension

@@Royal_5665 actually it had low profile from factory itself. So when I decided to go for 17” I couldn’t go higher than 45 profile.
Let’s see if I decide to change wheels in future
It wouldn’t damage the suspension but it will damage the wheel. You might crack the wheel if you are not careful on the potholes but the suspension will be fine

17 inch tyres are best for indian road condition's. but yess tyre width thodi si kam hoti toh mja aa jata!

Even though your car looks good with these alloy wheels, but you would surely be not happy with that issue where your car tyre touches the fender as i have also faced a similar issue and its very irritating. I would suggest go with the Virtus GT line company alloy wheels only. Thanks : )
Yes bro 100% true. That experience terrified me. But I do that kinda trip only once in a while so I will drive accordingly.

There isn't any base to top model conversion video of Virtus. If you're planning to have fog lamps installed in future, it might need bumper change and if you're changing front bumper then change rear as well to finish the top conversion look.
Just front grill will be needed to swap. Bumper will remain same

Tyre upgrad is perfect with nearly no deviation. But bhar aa gay tyres tabhi touch ho rahe in high speed bumps when car is fully loaded

Nai bro. Already 16” had profile of 55 so you can’t put 55 in 17”
Overall circumference should be same. Only 2% tolerance without affecting speedo and odometer

Suspension feels much stiffer than earlier on sharp edged potholes. I would say it’s gone about 30% stiffer

Yeah it's there in 1L TSI AT, service centre guys says it's normal, don't know its true or not, at starting rpm is higher, so may be its brake working to manage TC torque.

I don’t think so. Because service Center lekar gya hun gaadi kisi ne koi zikar toh nahi kia.

How much has 17 inch tyres affected comfort?
About 25-30% I would say. Or in short when I got them and ran over same route full of potholes I used to drive earlier, I wished I could go back to my previous setup.

Idk if COG has heightened because circumference of the overall wheel setup is same as earlier

nah bro. no option of manual in GT, only DSG DQ250
@@MrSUKH that's disappointing bro ... Not make sure that the speedometer is properly calibrated and also consider changing the suspension as well coz native suspension isn't tuned to have bigger wheels ... If not there will be more issues in the front ...like control arm, ball.jkint etc...
Speedo is still working as it was earlier because overall circumference has been same with the upgrade, increase in diameter is even less than 1%.
Rest about the suspension, I am concerned about that too. lets see how that works. i drive carefully and slowly in potholes.
