My daughter in law always wanted these , but never had her own , and enjoyed playing with her friends dolls as a child.She saw the Classic Strawberry Shortcake doll at Toys R Us , smelled it and it brought back all her childhood memories. She wanted so badly to buy it but it wasn't in her budget. She showed a photo of the doll on facebook and told her story. So I called my son and had him pick it up for me to give her as an "I love you" gift. He says she started to cry when he gave it to her. I had bought every doll they made for my daughter when the very first ones came out. I know we have them packed away somewhere. Thanks for sharing these, they bring back memories for me too!
Wow. I never knew Strawberry Shortcake is that old. I remember having a cake for my 5th birthday that had Strawberry Shortcake image printed on it with sugar paper. Man that was long ago considering I'm 17 now (turning 18 next year)

Just finding this video...I wish I knew they were re-releasing these dolls back then. I just started trying to collect them. These dolls brought back so many memories from my childhood and they were my joy along with Cabbage Patch Kids, Rainbow Bright, and the Original Care Bears. I need to get my hands on Raspberry Tart and Blueberry Muffin as these are the only 2 dolls in your video that I can't find. Hoping they re-release the whole line. Geesh, I didn't know they had so many gorgeous dolls, I'm in love!!!

This is so awesome that the 1980s Strawberry Shortcake has made a come back:)!!! I even named my first Cat, Custard, after Strawberry Shortcake's Cat, Custard. I still have a few of my old Strawberry Shortcake Dolls , including Raspberry Tart with Rhubarb. I am personally partial to the original look of the 1980s version. This is one of the best videos that you have done, but that might be because Strawberry Shortcake is very nostalgic for me:)!!! You have cheered me up today:).

I love Strawberry Shortcake dolls, mostly because of their colors.
I buy them in thrift and antique stores whenever I see them. Have a lot of the vintage ones. Flat hands camevout first and then the curved hands.
I also have some from eachnof the different companies that had license to make them.
Of the ones you showed, I like the strawbery shortcake doll in the pink dress.

I miss our raspberry tart doll. It was my moms but I lost her a long time ago. The only thing left of her is her hat and her monkey ;-;
These are the strawberry shortcakes of my childhood and that were in all of the hard cover books (the really big ones that were like... 11x17? Maybe?) that I had of her. She, Clifford, and the Carebears made up my book collection when I was younger haha
I love Strawberry Shortcake now and so is my mom back in the eighties and 70 she really likes it and my dad was around when they had the reading cards and strawberries are my favorite fruit by the way and I love Strawberry Shortcake I only have like one 35th Anniversary Strawberry Shortcake and the rest are vintage🍓🙂☺

must be nice.i had all the vintage mini strawberry shortcake and friends figurines but they were stolen I can't afford to get them back for reasons of I had a liver transplant kidney transplant and heart surgery as well as things so I do miss them.i wish I still had them but money goes to medication and doctors.honest

They look nothing of the same as childhood they kind of look weird
I recently got/unboxed a purplepie man from 80, the original original and he still smells a little like berries!
I'm so happy they reissued the old dolls!
I read reviews of the barbies that were reissued and people were saying they weren't fully accurate. Do you feel the same can be said for these or are they exact replicas?
I don't get why they didn't make the barbies exact so go figure.
