Wasn't Sarkisian, was it? Doesn't matter, wasn't a name like Tomlin. They'd give him a Jimbo like 10/100 type deal and he'd get them back to the CFP.

Thank U for clarifying the obvious to non competent casual Steelers haters or observers. Tomlin will coach in Pittsburgh until he retires and starts coaching highschool for fun. USC is not a relevant football program. Please stop pretending because we can see what USC is all about. Very little. It's an insult and a major distraction to even bother him with this paltry trash. He showed U just as much in the interview. He was pissed and I don't blame him.

@@thegrandarchitect1 USC is not relevant? That is just insane. They're just not good right NOW...but this is like saying 'Bama wasn't relevant before Saban. That's one of the top 5 programs in the country. A good coach who can recruit and just keep those kids in state would make them relevant. Once they get back to being a top 20 team and start getting out of state kids sprinkled in, they'll again be dominant.
And I give zero fucks about SC and obviously I think the Steelers are a better job. Maybe the best job in all of Football, so not arguing that part, but schools like USC, 'Bama, Texas.
..the blue bloods, they're always a "relevant" job or program. Plus the obvious ones like OSU, OK, GA.
But put Tomlin at USC and they're in the CFP in 5years.

@@scourge8097 It's easily the best job in all of football. Quite possibly in all of U.S. professional sports.
USC's last national title was nearly 20 years ago. In the past decade, they've won their conference exactly one time. It's a completely irrelevant program. It's their brand that's relevant, but given enough time, that won't be relevant either unless they turn things around. I can see why they'd want a guy like Tomlin, but the fact of the matter is he's way above that job.

Rich got it but he excused the question becuse he knew the source wasn't ill-intended. Remember, Tomlin didn't know the source, and we don't know of a single black NFL head coach that was recycled back into head coaching, whereas white coaches are recycled all the time. All Tomlin knew was there are two other great coaches that are doing worse than him and they weren't asked that question by a white person. When a white person asks a black person a question like that, they mean that a black person no good. Glad Tomlin stood up for himself and his organization.

2:25 "The benefit of college is that if you win, you're there forever..." Not entirely true, but for a majority of places, yes. Yet places like USC, Ohio State, Michigan, etc; you can win all the time but if you don't beat your rivals and win championships...YOU ARE OUT! Happens all the time. Expectations can be outrageous in some places.
