- Hello and welcome back to Crafted by Corie!! I'm so happy you're here! I strive to make high end décor projects on a budget that you can be proud to display in your home! My style takes a slant towards farmhouse with a bit of bling thrown in.

I'm supposing you've already had the drawing but just in case what brings me joy are my children and learning new things about crafting. I've been looking for a cricket give away I just recently moved and although my cricket was the very first model I still loved it dearly-it was lost in the move and it's not something I will ever be able to replace financially. Once you have a tool like this you feel handicapped without!
The checkerboard tiered tray came out amazing! But I think the three little piggies were my favorite. Taking something so plain that I would have never wanted and with such simple ideas turning them into something so cute, amazing!

Crafting gives me joy.
What gives me joy is the wonderful peoples face that are blessed when they receive any of my gift baskets from me. The way they light up when they open them then talk to me weeks later on how much they lived there gifts Basket. Just does my heart good and gives me hope to keep going

I love the Marine sticker. (Having been married to a Marine) I thought the bunnies were the cutest. What brings me joy?... crafting... I have a hard time finding people who want my stuff but the important part is the creating. It makes me happy to see a bunch of odd stuff become "art".

Hi Corie, I’m a bit late watching but enjoyed all these projects, you are so talented. One thing that brings me joy is crafting with my granddaughter, I started crafting with her when she was a toddler and she is now 13 and crafting with her leaves us both with special granddaughter/grandma memories.

Hello Corrie, your dilemma re tracing an image from phone without it moving helped me as well. I've been able to trace using my tablet by taking a screenshot, emailing to my myself, clicking on the image, clicking on "preview" & then tracing. So, had a Sense might be similar from cell phone. So the adventure began. I have an android phone (don't know ab other phones). Take a screenshot of the desired image (press & hold volume down & on/off buttons @ same time... if doesn't work, press & hold on/off switch by itself, then select screenshot), then press "library", then select desired image, then select "crop", then select image that looks like a box w/ broken lines, & trace your image. Becomes simpler after using couple of times (but also wrote out on my notepad just in case 😊). Have a good day!

Suggestion- when you’re working with clear or white/light supplies in your DIYs, use a darker background so that we can better see what you’re doing.

What gives me joy mmmm apart from my children and my crafts it would have to be the community work I did for 15 odd years whilst bringing up my 5 kids alone after my ex husband left. It gave me pride confidence and a realisation that I wasn't useless . Helping others gave me great inner joy. Sadly disabled now but I still try other ways to help others . I've been decorating for over 50 years and have used almost every theme you can imagine (except gnomes and trucks, neither of which I am fond; just don't like to have the same thing as everyone else). This year am going to use gold, silver, and white to complement the everyday copper decor in my house and stars as my focus.

Valerie. I was the same way. I bought the big one first and had it for 6 months but never even took it out of the box, I was so intimidated! So, like the lunatic I am, I bought the Joy thinking it would be easier to learn. It was! My advice is to watch UA-cam tutorials, like Corie said. I still am a beginner but it's getting easier each time I use it. I played around with design space for a while before getting up the courage to actually make a project. If you can use a copier or a typewriter, you can use the cricut! Good luck!!
