Ever since Mana, I've said repeatedly that SB19 (or any of the members) should do an entire album inspired by Filipino myths and legends! (pretty please)🥺Just thinking about what they could do with that theme makes me kilig (hope I'm using that right 😉).
Got a hint on Bulan that he will have another one awesome mythological creature in the future (just my theory).

There were seven moon deities (Bulan, Haliya and others which represents the seven nights of a week). The moon deities often go to the land to play and the Bakunawa (Sea Serpent Deity) was amazed by their incomparable beauty and light. The Bakunawa ate the other moon deities and also Bulan but Haliya came to save his brother. Bulan was saved but his memories were gone and became a mortal kid. The Bakunawa still tries to devour the remaining moon deity, Haliya; and Bulan (as a mortal) sees that the Bakunawa tries to eat the moon which is why Bulan is giving warnings to Haliya in the song.
That is why at the start of the video, long haired Felip (mortal Bulan) touched the water and memories flashed back. The end of the song is a sound of a gong, it is said that the community built a large gong because the weakness of the Bakunawa is loud noise.

yes please. The title is "Felip's Bulan is proof of SB19's Dark Obsession"
The phrase "ITAGA MO ITO" which was translated to "KEEP THIS IN MIND" is kind of lost in translation. ITAGA is a forceful swinging, slashing and hitting on something with a use usually an Axe or a large sword with a purpose of not slicing but splitting in to two. This phrase came from the saying "ITAGA MO SA BATO" or "*ITAGA in a rock" which basically means "its 100% sure that its gonna come true whatever happens". So "KEEP THIS IN MIND", in my opinion, should not have been the translation but "MARK MY WORD" or "ETCH IT [ON A STONE]".

The long-haired Ken is probably the mortal that he became after he was spit out from the Bakunawa's mouth. When he dipped his hands in the water, memories came back. This is part of the Ibalon's (modern-day Bicol)myth. You might want to watch Cashual Chuck's short introduction to this myth or a more extensive discussion by Kirby Araullo to better understand Bulan.
I agree. When he had the long hair, he seems calm and innocent, but in his short hair shots he looks fierce and angry and ready to fight probably the Bakunawa.

moon goddess is the girl dancing (haliya) who is the twin sister of Bulan. Haliya was trying to hide herself from the bakuna(sea serpent)

9:17 No umm, long hair ken is still bulan but thats when he forgot that he's a moon goddess, when he touch the water i think it all came back as haliya is his twin sister. The bakunawa swallowed bulan and he forgot everything so at the start of the song he doesn't know that he is bulan.

According to the ancient people of the Philippines, Bathala-a supreme being or god-created seven moons that illuminated the earth, with one illuminating each of the dark nights of the week. Every evening was ever so bright and so beautiful because of these moons as the moons brought joy and happiness to the people of the earth. This, however, mesmerized one particular dragon that wished to have them all. The Bakunawa, a huge serpent-like dragon that coiled around the earth and ruled the oceans, first fell in love with the heavenly magnificence of the "seven sisters" such that he envied the almighty for his creations. But to the people of earth's collective dismay and disappointment, the dragon swallowed the moons one by one, each night, as he yearned to possess them all. This growing yearning turned into envy and greed, so the Bakunawa arose again and again from the waters to swallow the moons. The towering, ferocious dragon successfully devoured all-but one.

A bakunawa is a mystical sea creatures back then in the Philippines because before the Philippines had 7 moons and because the bakunawa height is more than 100ft it lifts up from the sea and eats the moon one by one after all six moons were eaten the Filipino fought to keep it thats why its call Bulan aka the moon god because it eats your light one by one and the bakunawa is know to living in the deeps seas before that's why Fishermen before came back home before nighttime cause when it will reachs nighttime you might get eaten by the one and only bakunawa......

Unfortunately, the song and video are nearly an exact rip off from Lit by Lay. Beat for beat, scene for scene. I recommend you watch Lay's video which is far superior.

Since I watched both and have also read on both (and am also a student of Filipino culture, mythology, and history) may I suggest you watch historian Kirby Araullo's review on the mythos behind Bulan. Bulan is the Moon God and the waning crescent moon, twin to the warrior goddess Haliya, the waxing crescent moon. Bulan was made mortal by Bakunawa the sea serpent who craved his light and the lights of his five other sibling moons, which it devoured. Haliya traditionally covers her face to hide her beauty so Bakunawa will be distracted from trying to kill her out of envy.
Felip portrays our culture with the babaylan's (shallowly termed a shaman in modern times) chant in the beginning and in the middle when he calls on his sister, the traditional gongs and modern electric guitar used to scare Bakunawa away from Haliya as he attempts to devour her during the blood moon or eclipse. His Rajah's costume at the beginning is traditional to us as well as the game of bulan-bulan or moon-moon where Bulan is protected by a circle or warriors defending him from the Bakunawa.
Felip is also the bass vocal line and rapper in his band, which is why his voice is so low, with the vocal fry and grunge rap. He has always sung that way and that is his signature..
Perhaps you had missed Lay's interview where he said he was inspired by Chinese General Xiang Yu's connection to the lotus from "Farewell to my Concubine?" His portrayal of the dragon as a symbol of power. might, and dreams? And his combination of hip-hop with traditional Chinese instruments? Quite different from the legend of the Moon God portrayed through krumping and heavy metal.
Perhaps you are also not aware the Philippines and China have been trading and intermarrying for millennia before "Western" discovery? There are influences that we share and have shared for centuries. As a
Filipina with Chinese ancestry, I am proud of both. Do NOT insult my culture with your lack of understanding.

I'm stating that there is being inspired by something, (which Ken's team has now admitted to using The Lit video and song as inspiration), and actually copying the music and specific scenes and imagery. I would argue that this song and video crosses from being an interpretation to being a copy.

Specifically which parts of the music and imagery? As well as which specific scenes? It would help me understand which point you are putting forward. Lit is only one of the inspirations, BTW.
