I discovered this song on accident, and God has really been using it to minister to me. A few months ago, I prayed that I would be like Jesus and do what Jesus did, and I've been studying Jesus' life, teaching, and ministry in the Bible. About Himself, Jesus says, "I only do what I see my Father doing." Knowing the Father is absolutely key. God has really been taking me through a season of greater and deeper surrender, where I've really been seeking Him more. I've really earnestly sung/prayed this song to God, and He has challenged me in all the ways I do other things and give myself to other things but Him. He says to me, "You said you don't want it if I'm not in it. I'm not in that. If you want me, I'm over here..." It's easy to say it, but it's much harder to really walk it out. Am I really going to follow Him in everything I do? Am I willing to give up everything in my life that distracts from Him? The more I pursue Him and know Him, the more I want to. But I constantly need His help to remind me and strengthen me to go after Him. I've come back to this song again and again.
Praise God that all who believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day are saved, sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, children of God forever. Thank you Jesus for your finished redemptive work on the cross. We believe. Thank you for being our life, our best friend, our peace and our comfort. Amen.

Right now I’m going to be starting school as a freshman, this is going to be my second year in the public school. Before this year I was homeschooled up until my 8th Grade year, which was last year, that year didn’t go very well I was bullied by quite a few guys and called ugly and nasty names. So going in as a freshman is making me very anxious, but this song makes me stop and remember that God is always there for me.
