Been carving small scale for a few months, have probably 2 dozen decent carvings done in basswood and pine, been educating myself a bit before I get out the saws and make a mess, but it's coming. You've been a big help, I like the way you explain the different techniques and how to use them. It's very helpful. I've already used your owl eyes on my small scale owls. They translate down well, but you have to drop off or paint in some of the elements on smaller owls.
Thanks!
Very helpful regarding those techniques with the wings, I was most impressed as really needed to learn this basic style, well explained and I'll look forward to seeing more.
I got two channels I love getting notifications for... Primitive Technology is one and yours is the other now. Thanks for the videos!
About to attempt my first eagle, this really helped immensely! Thank you!
Great vid man! I was planning on switching from knife carving to chainsaw so this is especially helpful. Thanks!
Hey man, really appreciate the efforts you’ve gone to,to share your knowledge. Means a lot. Has massively increased confidence in getting started with carving. Cheers
Hey I've watched a few of your tutorials now and have subscribed to your channel.
Pretty detailed and helpful tutorials.
Great work too by the way, keep it up.

Thank you for you styles of wing and eagle designs .I learned a lot.
Awesome videos. Thank you for the great information!
Great video thank you for sharing your amazing talent 😀
Great videos and easy to learn from, Thanks and keep them coming
Loving the videos and all the helpful tips. Great backing tracks really pull you into the video.
Throughout this year you're videos have helped me create some special works that others love as much as I. Even sold a few, though its not my main aim in what I'm doing.
Great videos! Seriously all of them are wonderful.
I’m a long time listener-first time caller here and was wondering if you could at some point help educate us on the different species of wood you’ve worked with as well as their pros & cons.
The region I live in, San Bernardino mountains (S. California) is primarily limited to pine. Any thoughts/comments on the importance of wood species would be greatly appreciated.
Keep up the Great work!
Eddie
Great job - good tutorial- very engaging- looking forward to the Sea turtle- I just finished one last week and a tortoise the week before that. Sold them both to a turtle lover.... Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year
Love the videos Eric.
Can't wait to see the tiny home vids! :)
Great video I really appreciate the tutorial I'll be using some of the advice I've only tried making feathers once and I got so lost completely over thinking it so thanks a lot hopefully I won't get so lost next time

Thanks, that's helpful. I've yet to do a good try at an eagle but when I do I'll nail the feathers. Hopefully...
