6+4=4➡️8+4=4 OR 6+4=4➡️5+4=9, details below. Matchstick riddle showing an equation of 6+4=4, with the directions being: move just 1 matchstick to make the equation correct... (as a reminder, the answer given in the video was to move the vertical matchstick that in the addition symbol (+) making the equation change from addition to subtraction (+ ➡️ -) and was placed in the open area of the number 6 (on the upper right, turning the 6 ➡️8), changing the the original, incorrect equation from 6+4=4 into the new, correct equation which, in the end, reads 8-4=4) ...another response (and my initial guess) was to move the vertical matchstick that made up the lower left portion of the number 6 (turning it from a 6➡️5), turning it a quarter turn to the right (or to the left, either way works, so long as it goes from its original vertical placement so that it can now be placed horizontally) and moving it into the open area (that being the top, center section) of the last number in the equation, or the 2nd number 4, making the 4➡️9 (so there's no confusion, it's the number 4 to the right of the equal (=) sign and the sum of the incorrect equation in which we are trying to make correct) and having the equation read from an incorrect 6+4=4 to the correct equation of 5+4=9 (Seeing as the riddle doesn't mention whether or not the one matchstick the person chooses to move has to maintain the direction, ie: vertical or horizontal, it was originally placed in, I used that detail - or lack there of- to my full advantage in coming us with my alternative solution to the riddle.)
👎 disliked this bc these riddles are very easy, I feel like you have a more intelligent target audience for these ones. Also the first one was unguessable actually bc we don’t know how many cars her parents actually owned you just straight up gave us the answer and said yep that’s the solved riddle
