All his solos are awesome, is one of my favorite guitarrist.
I met stefan once, not only is he one of the best metal guitar players in receant years, he was such a cool guy he hung out and talked to me and my friends. He was not a rock star at all.
I'm in horrible pain over his leaving. I was shocked when I read it.
NONE will ever be able to replace Stefan.. NEVER, EVER!

He replaced Stromblad, one of the original founders. He has been their guitarist for the last eight years. He's far from replacable. He's probably one of the best metal guitarists of the era. I'm not sure about Pontus, but no one can replace Stefan Elmgren. I based my guitar playing off his. I'm gonna miss him.

Hearing all this is so.. freaking awesome. I really really love the Instrumental-Parts from the HammerFall-Songs the most :D (Not that the Voice-Parts are bad but... idk i like the Instrumental stuff more for some reason :D)

is sad to know that Stefan Elmgren is not longer with HammerFall... look at this article "Surprising to all, Stefan got a job as an airline pilot in the spring of 2008, and after careful consideration decided to pursue that dream instead. Pontus Norgren of The Poodles fame replaced Stefan and made his on stage debut with the band at the Heavy MTL Festival in Montréal, Canada."........... :( he left that great band to became a pilot... hmm.. sad lol
