@peterjohnson1734 Too many people in big cities like NYC seem to have bought into "the brand." Certain things have "always been done this way," like supporting a specific political party, so they just do what's expected and complain about things later. It's like going to the diner on the corner that has the worst coffee in town. They KNOW that there are plenty of places that serve much better coffee, but that would require them to break out of their long-established rut. Rather than changing anything, they do what they've always done, and then gripe about it.

Same…I’m stuck with Kaine and Warner in Virginia, no matter how I vote. Entrenched dems so close to the federal govt in Virginia, lots of people employed by feds directly or through contracting and grant funding. So they won’t vote against their bread and butter. Plus lots of activists in feds so you won’t find they vote against growing the fed government and it’s influence.

They are everything they have accused President Trump of. The house voted to impeach along party lines. Republicans are majority do they win the vote. Schumer, leader in the senate refused to have a vote in senate. He never allowed it to have a vote. He was concerned a dem may vote to impeach. Then he would be gone from his position. Harriet Hageman is pretty much the smartest person in congress at the moment. There are number of people I do think are very good in congress but in terms of being able to get to the crux of the matter she is as good as they come. I am very glad indeed that congress has her.

The moment that I first heard Candidate Hageman speak (this was just a few months before she elected), I fell in love with the woman!
And I am very proud to have such keen powers of discernment; probably inherited this from my mother.
I had the same feeling for Winsome Sears, and a few others as well. All of these great people are showing what true, brave, inspired, and intelligent patriots can do. They've all been wonderful. And more are soon coming!
