I am Ethiopian , not from Tigray, but Big! Big fan of Daniel Teklehaimanot. Always think of him in all grand tours (Giro, Vuelta, Tour de France). It becomes habitual to support this lad of King of the Mountain category in every race. He is a brand to his country, no more ordinary person. Go! Go Daniel, son of Tekelehaimanot!!!

You said it. They really are, indeed! They grew up under the footsteps of Abebe Bikila, the greatest marathonist of all time. They are the flames of African athletics. I have high regard of Kenyan elite athletes, among them Paul Tergat outshined the most.

I enjoyed cycling in Eritrea from '93-95. The passion was there, the tarmac less so. Roads look really road tyre rideable. Stunning scenery and climbs and helpful gomistas everywhere. Great to see such cycling strength for girls and women too.
It's really great to see the sport develop in every part of the world, I'm really glad guys like Daniel Teklehaimanot could get hired by a world tour team like Dimension Data so he could get a chance to show how great he is.
There was a tradition in my school that after every exam we did we would always race around our school(Dembe sembel). THIS JUST SHOWS HOW CYCLING IS IN OUR BLOOD 🇪🇷🇪🇷

It was a great video, thank you. I just wished you used Eritrea song & Eritrea kids in the beginning of the video instead you guys used different African song (we cannot understand) & not Eritrea kids. If the title of the story says Eritrea then it should be about Eritrea only, we Eritrea are proud of our heritage & don't like using other African countries clips or songs. After many years war struggle & challenges, it makes us proud to be the first African to compete in cycling. And we hope/believes for other doors (blessings) to open.
That's a generic intro for all the series, its the same clip for all the countries...no difference! The chapter starts after the intro...I'm glad you like it!

TheSteinbitt are you serious guys from east Africa are doped up. You mean to say guys from Eroupe and North america who are always busted for doping. When Africans win it is because of their hardwork not because of a drug unlike some European and American athletes.
