The Fox Miraculous Is Getting A New Holder! - Miraculous Season 6
The sixth season of Miraculous Ladybug came in strong with a new narrative direction and an ominous decision from Marinette. At the end of the episode “The Illustrhater”, Marinette realizes that she must depend on her allies to protect Paris. She's well within her right to be nervous after handing out all the Miraculouses and separating them from the Miracle Box, but she needs to trust her team and acknowledge that they're all competent heroes. She took a giant step in accepting this at the end of the season premiere when she gave Alya the Kwagatama for the Ladybug Miraculous. She officially named her best friend her successor, meaning Alya will inherit the Ladybug Miraculous and the Chinese Miracle Box should something happen to Marinette. When that time comes, she'll need to choose a new wielder for the Fox Miraculous, and she promised Trixx she would find someone cool. Not many characters are available in the main lineup to receive a Miraculous, so I'll take a stab at determining Alya’s successor in today’s video.
