      That time there was neither Nepal nor India nor China. Siddhata gotama was born in Lumbini forest; shakya republic, got enlightenment in kosala kingdom and got Parinibbana in malla kingdom. That is enough... No more controversy...

    Did Buddha believe in God ? What did he say about God....please do an episode on this topic

      Buddhism do believe in deities or celestial beings; superior to human world. We Buddhists worship them like Indra, Sri devi(earth goddess), hariti etc for blessings but good deeds are more important. Mahayana worship bodhistva. Buddhism do not believe in creator entity because Buddhism believe in enternal law of impermanence. There is no any absolute start or end for the universe. The rise and fall in the universe is constant process. Thus, any role of creator is not required in Buddhism because there is no any creation or start by creator. All things are bound to the laws.

      @@jayantkamble6082 Ok...I thought Buddhists don't worship any god in Theravada...but I see other sects worship Gods (like Hinduism). I wonder if life is your karma, how can praying to gods help ? So these gods give blessings ONLY to people who pray for them ? That would be similar to Christianity in some aspects.

    • @jayantkamble6082
      @jayantkamble6082 Рік тому +1

      @@eversunnyguy Yes, karma is superior than praying. Praying or worshipping deities are secondary. Deities are also bound to restrictions of samsara if you are getting punishment of misconduct, deities are also not able to fo anything to save you, here only good karmas can save you. Same with if you are getting prize for good karmas, praying for deities is not necessary.

      Real answer is, he never replied to such questions?...Brahmins who initially converted into Buddhist, hijacked his theory.

    • @jayantkamble6082
      @jayantkamble6082 Рік тому

      @@animesh7296 Yes, he did answer. It is mere confusion among Buddhists in India particularly about several concepts of Buddhism. Buddhism rejected creator entity because we believe in law of impermanence but we do worship n believe in several deities who help us in path of liberation.
