      It was a stupid thing to say during a shareholder meeting but I guess some people's minds never graduate middle school no matter how old they are.

    Is it that difficult to treat beautiful people like human beings? For fuck sake...

    • @Pulseczar1
      @Pulseczar1 8 років тому +2

      Only people that have been beautiful their whole life would have a problem with being called "beautiful", though I understand that people want to be seen as more than a pretty face.

    • @paveldvorak5512
      @paveldvorak5512 8 років тому

      Pulseczar1 They could be ugly but you still don't harrass people about their appearance 24/7.

    • @Pulseczar1
      @Pulseczar1 8 років тому +1

      Only people that have been beautiful their whole life would say that someone calling them "attractive", in a non-suggestive manner, is a form of harassment. I'm not sure why you said "24/7". Has the Greek guy said this to her multiple times?

    • @paveldvorak5512
      @paveldvorak5512 8 років тому

      Pulseczar1 It's a metaphore. Surely this doesn't happen all the time... (luckily) but put yourself into the perspective of just wanting to be able to walk the street, go shopping, do an interview etc without people hitting on you, acting funny or in the case of being ugly, disgusted looks, being ignored, etc. People should treat people largely normally regardless of looks ideally. I know that's a pipe dream but we should perhaps try, no?

    • @Pulseczar1
      @Pulseczar1 8 років тому

      Pavel Dvořák
      I think a lot of people would greatly appreciate being called "attractive", and therefore they consider it a nice thing to do -- to call someone else "attractive". I think the only people that don't appreciate being called "attractive" are those that have been attractive their whole life, and take it for granted. It would be nice if attractiveness didn't matter (or if everyone was attractive), but it's far too ingrained in our biology, I think, for anything to change in that regard any time soon.
      You ask me to view this from the perspective of others. Put yourself in the shoes of someone that has never been called beautiful in their entire life by anyone but their parents. People should be grateful for the good things that they have, and consider the alternative lives that they could have instead. Ever heard the term "first world problem"? That's basically how I view a person complaining about receiving compliments.

      it is surprising how attractive she is though, considering how rapidly women age, most are ugly by 30. And yet here she is, working 130 hour long weeks at the age of 39(now 46) and still rocking it 20 years past what would've been other women's prime. Yes, it is highly inappropriate, and she stands as a symbol that women are equal to men, but it's also empowering to those that fear age is a death sentence to their beauty.
