How am I always so late to see these things? That stage dive is a thing of beauty. It always impresses me when artists just lean back into their audience and trust them not to drop them. But it is doubly impressive seeing a woman do it. Somehow there is an even deeper level of trust, not so much from the dropping aspect though. Amanda's audience however, are a special breed. We're misfits, experiencing a misfit. And as such, there is a level of wanting to protect the other misfits because society thinks we're weird. Weird is good though. You just have to do it with confidence, and Amanda demonstrates that beautifully. I so wish I had been at this concert. Goosebumps!
