Hi Phil. This is looking really good 👍 Phil Flory is indeed still going - I saw him at Telford (having missed you and Lou 😔). As I have commented before, I like these longer videos as they keep me company whilst hobbying. The frustrating thing is that I am currently visiting my mum and don’t have access to my hobby stuff. Much as I loved the video it felt odd watching it without "building something"! Liked the CA kicker in the syringe bottle idea - had to pause the video to order some bottles like that. The spray bottles the kicker comes in are a pain. Face painting is an art in itself and I also follow Vince Venturella (Hobby Cheating channel) who does mini painting for tips on doing that sort of thing. Looking forward to the next thrilling instalment 😊
WOW! That is an awesome build - love the ideas you incorporated especially lighting. As for the Polar Lights decals, they are notorious for ripping and tearing. I usually clearcoat the whole sheet with a clear spray first and it seems to work... had the issue with Star Trek kits mostly.
You made my day. I just ordered the kit which is hard to find over here in Germany. Very nice how you show the actual frame with the hair on Kane´s forehead. And I really love how you speak about your stash - same here: I have some kits I did not touch for years but I simply need to have. Sorry for my crappy English - I hope all of this makes sense to you :)
Great review and build Phil. Can't believe that magazine was 2015 as I was one of the writers... that's my Blade Runner article in there...such a shame they closed down as there is nothing else like it.
there goes Phil, raising Kane as usual. I never got why they bothered to make the suits in the teletubby colors if they were just going to muddy them down and desaturate them in the lighting/processing anyway.
Thanks for the close up look Phil. I was interested in this a while ago when it was a garage kit. Shame it’s not in vinyl which would have made lighting a lot easier. The head sculpt is good -it’s just of someone else and not of John Hurt!
WOW, Kane is looking really good Phil...can't wait to see it finished, and lit up. Any updates on the recent 1:350 Enterprise Refit you were working on?
I think another Enterprise Refit is in the wing...one that you can honestly be happy having in your collection. Come on Phil...you know you want, you need the Enterprise refit in your collection. Now, go build something.😊
I'm liking your progress through this one Phil, I've seen a few builds that almost tempt me to try and get this kit.... so dont do too well, my stash is big enough. I do enjoy the longer vids for all I stop and start if I get pulled away. BTW 59.06 on the subject of complex "Star Wars 1/350 scale refit" have you just punked me as you chaps across the pond say? Or have you mixed your franchise? Thanks for sharing Phil, keep it up.

Wow, the paintjob and weathering on the suit looks spot on! Can't wait to see the final.
Can't wait to see it all lit up and painted.

You are doing John Mollo's costume designs proud with this build, nice wiring adaptations... all very egg-citing!
Your eye for detail is incredible!
Absolutely brilliant Phil your a master

Ihr Englisch ist besser als meines!! Ich freue mich, dass Sie inspiriert sind, das ist mein Ziel!
Another impressive and inspiring build Phil! Phil Flory is still producing and selling his washes, either individually or by the set.
Great to know thanks!! Love Flory products.
Great video Phil! Awesome to follow your videos! Keep the good work and happiness! Happy Christmas and have an awesome holidays!
Epic film this will be good ,would love a model of the Space Jockey scene😎😎
Hey Phil I have that one in my stash also... Your inspiring me !
I’m surprised you did this as a Christmas build. I figured something like that would have found Easter more appropriate. 🥚 😉
Eggsactly right!
Thats an awesome kit. Are you going to light it up? Thank you for sharing. One of my favorite Hobby Channels.

That is awesome! I miss it to! Now I have to read that article again!! Cheers!

Agree…I think they knew the world was going to be dark so they were having a little fun. If you recall the patches for Nostromo were rainbow colored!
Oh! "Cricket Pads". Yep, English. Took me a beat.

Have not worked on refit anymore…could a 3rd build be in the wings!
