"There's Adam, talking to Jesus" You don't hear that every day :) The "Crucifixion Show at 11:00"; darkest theme park show ever... I was a little disappointed that they didn't have dining experiences called 'The Last Supper' or 'Cheeses for Jesus' , an opportunity missed. Thanks for posting your vlog; I've been curious about what's inside there for years x x
i just want to thank y'all for being so respectful regardless of what yalls personal beliefs might be. and i also want to thank y'all for not being afraid to make a youtube video like this. much love and God bless!
Places like this are kind of. . . weird. But with the whole criticism of monetizing your faith. . .I get it. But at the same time, it does cost money to build a place like that! and they have to pay the performers and workers! I am a Christian, and I appreciate that Tim and Jenn don't mock things like this and the Ark experience when they visit, at least on UA-cam.
Thanks for visiting this interesting place and reviewing it without a trace of cynicism or negativity. Your genuine positive attitudes are why I subscribed and keep on watching!
This place is like something you'd see on the Simpsons, blissfully unaware it's a parody of itself. The only thing missing is the 'Bort' Holy Land license plates.
So I'm a Jew, but the one thing I'm pretty sure of are the antelope horns are rams horns and called Shofars...I don't know if it's what the Christians call them, but there ya go!
Yes, that is definitely correct Amanda. It is a Shofar. Thanks for the input! I am a Christian, and have been to Israel twice and love it there. I would move there if my wife would somehow go along with it! My grandfathers side of the family is Jewish (German Jewish from before World War 1, then moved to USA to Texas), so I grew up with a little bit of Jewish background, but never really understood what it was all about while I was growing up! But it wasn’t until I came to follow Christ in my adult years that I wanted to find out more about the Old Testament (or Hebrew Bible), which is the foundation of our faith. I am very thankful for the Jewish people preserving God’s Word over the centuries for us today. Hope you have a wonderful day. 😀
D Mac I think money was involved in the making of this video haha. Tim's always fussy with his food, he said the burger was good, but looked like shit? How does that add up!
james howell... Did you notice he never gave an after meal review either 😕 At the end Jenn thanked Holy Land Experience for"having them", so my guess is they got in free
I am finding this a year later. But I used to work at the Smokey Mountain Passion Play back in the 80s outside Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. I swear they are using our old script!
I'm a Theology student and soon to be a Religious Education teacher, also my Grandpa is a minister, and I think that this is one of the most bizarre and amazing things I've ever seen.
me too...me too. my parents tried to drag me there when I was a kid, I was like we are driving an hour to Orlando yall, let's just do it right and go to Disney and Universal;) thank god they listened
From a person who has no religion in their life whatsoever this is the weirdest thing i have watched. Although saying that, i have been waiting for this video to be uploaded as i was quite intrigued about what goes on in there. I remember driving past holy land on my first trip to Florida in 2013 and i was shocked when i saw it...is shocked the word? i don't know but it did trigger some sort of strange reaction lol
I haven't watched the video yet. However, I do want to say that, as a Christian, things like this are pretty embarassing. It's monetization of our faith, right up there with the televangelists and health and wealth preachers. I'm not criticizing you, Tim and Jenn. I know that visiting these places is basically your job, and I think it will be interesting to see it. I just don't like the idea of this park.
This place while it may make money it also serves another purpose if you have watched it now you will see that Jenn talked about how by not growing up in a church there were a lot of things she had never known or had not understood and this place helped her and had an effect on her. In today's world people are more apt to go to a program or a "theme" park to be entertained than they are to read the Bible or a tract. Many people will never go to a church building for one reason or the other but they are more comfortable going to something like this - I have seen things done on tv and in person that were poorly done or not done correctly - and it was embarrassing to those of us who might know a lot about the Bible and also turn away people from wanting to know more - but this was done with very high quality from what I saw in the video - Now Jesus, Himself went to where they people where, even places where it was frowned on to go - like when he met the woman at the well - He didn't wait for people to come to Him - No matter how big and fancy the church building is, how beautiful the choir sings, or how inspired by God the sermons are it does no good if the people don't come or if we are not bringing our unsaved friend in - This place is reaching out to those who don't know and it is also giving those who do know a place to see what they have read and believed in action.
Katea9tails You can do that by going to a church. Not a theme park. You don't need to have a theme park based around a book written 3500 years ago to bring someone to church, or even think about religion. I'm sorry, but 'coming to jesus' moments can happen anywhere. You don't need a theme park to find god.
You are correct - you don't need a theme park or a church or anything else - God speaks to us anywhere - we just have to listen - as I stated before there are many people for one reason or the other that will not go inside a church but they will go to a theme park or other outside of a church building locations and be more open to hear the stories --- there is not reason for us to have theme parks based on movies, animals, other countries, or story book characters - we don't have to have them at all but currently people enjoy going to ones that interest them - this was not called Come To Jesus Land - It is about the area considered The Holy Land - they showed layouts of the land - they showed a lay out of Bethlehem, they showed how they use to use the horn to make noise - they had other performers singing and doing other things current at that time - the Passion Story isn't the only one they have from what they said - so it is like many of the sections of EPOCT and there also was once a park based on China in that area - No one has forced anyone to attend - if someone is interested or feels led to go for some reason then I don't see the problem - I might not go to some theme parks in the country because I have no interest to go - so TBN has offered this park and it seems people - many people decide to go - No you don't need a theme park to find God or based on one of the top selling books ever but some of the stories in it are amazing and seeing them acted out or displayed someway in front of you even like the Putt Putt kids area - it really helps you comprehend and understand it - we are a visual world - seeing is often more believing - If you don't care for it don't go but as is often said God works in mysterious ways and for some people that might be a theme park
Katea9tails I agree I see it as more of a learning experience than a "theme park" though (even though I know that's what it technically is.) It could even be a learning experience for an already Christian. Christians can probably learn something that they didn't know before about The Bible; you never know.
Katea9tails I agree with you, because some youtubers go to make fun of it. We don't need a theme park to learn and worship our saviour. And the park doesn't seem that nice so why bother going when you can go to church.
Omg mom we are going to Disney, I am so excited, I can't wait!!! No Jimmy we are not going to Disney, we are going to Bible Land. What kind of monster would do that to their child.
Too true haha. Don't want to even think about the kind of attractions they have in the bible belt. I feel sorry for anyone who is an atheist or a different sexual orientation living there.
Thanks for always giving a positive review on your videos. You give fair criticism but you never really bash anything. I feel like that's rare to find.
Thank you for sharing Tim and Jen! Its interesting, this is something I would not have known existed if I hadn't watched your blog. I probably wont go, but just interesting to watch. To each their own. I love you guys!!!!
The horn that they blow is called a Shofar, and it is only blown in Temple on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, the Jewish New Year and Day of Atonement. My husband is Jewish, and I've been to Temple many times. That seems like a really cool place, and your timing is perfect for going there as it is Holy Week. Awesome vlog, thank you!
Thank you Tim and Jen for sharing. I'm a Christian who has visited this park and rest assured for others who are hesitant to visit, please do! It is the Bible come to life and very educational. My favorite part is the Bible museum. It is a walk through history of the Bible itself. Very well done! There is also a replica of the tabernacle in the wilderness. After you see the tabernacle then they show a short film about Christ being our sacrificial Lamb of God. So beautifully done! I pray that you both come to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. God bless you 💞✝
Debra Krook I hope to one day visit this beautiful place with my wife and 2 small children. Thank you very much for this great information. God bless you.
I was a bit disappointed this morning when Adam found the park closed. After getting the dinner all set up I turned on my phone and low and behold there is Tim, Jenn, and Adam standing in the Holy Land. Thanks, and Happy Easter 🙏
After all this, I went to Wikipedia for some understanding. I grew up in a very strict catholic family. As an adult, I became "born again"and relate to myself as just a Christian. I'm glad this place holds church services and bible study groups. I'm relieved that the main emphasis here is the Gospel and Jesus as the resurrected Son of God. HOWEVER, the whole idea is very very odd. For people who have no exposure to Christianity, they can come away from this with a new experience that could change their lives. I think in some ways, this could be very enlightening for young children. Thanks for putting this video up, very brave of you both xo
Definitely a lot to do in Orlando, but I don't believe The Holy Land is going to be one of my stops! I am a Christian, but The Holy Land just doesn't seem right to me...
It doesnt pay taxes because its a non-profit. From their website: "Does The Holy Land Experience accept donations? The Holy Land Experience is a not-for-profit Christian organization. Ticket prices do not fully cover the cost of our ministry endeavors. If you are blessed by what you see on your visit, and would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help with our ministry, so that others may be blessed by the exhibits and presentations, please stop by Guest Services in the Jerusalem Street Market. You may also make a donation online."
Actually, non-profit isn't automatically tax exempt. Non-profit status under most state laws simply mean they aren't taking in funds to benefit a corporate entity or individuals, but rather serving a public purpose. To be tax exempt under state and Federal laws, they would have to meet certain requirements of the state and Federal government. The information on the Holy Land Experience website doesn't say specifically that they are tax exempt, but I suspect they are exempt under some 'church' designation.
The HolyLand Experience is fantastic whether you are Christian or not. I have been twice, once when I was younger and just this last summer. It is not unholy in anyway with the monetizing religion argument as it is a non-profit organization. All the funding is used for the up keep of the park. The park is extremely educational for both christians and non christians. Christians can go and learn more about their faith with friendly staff members who will gladly explain their knowledge of the gospels and Christian belief. None christians can go and learn what Christianity is about and what the beliefs and costumes are and where they originated from. Nothing about the park is toxic, uninviting, or disrespectful and if it's your first time in Orlando, it may not be a good place to go as there is much more to experience when you could just go to a church at home, but if you have been to Orlando before it is a must see!
I believe the horn is called a shofar but been there before and did not know there was a putt putt course. Thanks for showing the passion show. Missed seeing it when I went . I did witness a miracle when I went. A friend of mine her mom couldn't walk after prayers from cast members (Not one of their Jesus cast members) she walked from the the colosseum to her parking lot on her own and she still is walking .
Who else is here in 2021 because you just heard this place closed, but you didn't even know it existed?! Jonah's legs slowly flailing inside the whale got me 😂😂😂🤣🤣
Goodness! This seems like a great place to go if you are trying to have a closer-to-home gospel experience. I applaud both of you taking the time to learn more about God and his Word. When I heard you ask questions about what you were seeing... or when Jen said that she was seeing alot of this for the first time, i thought I might be noticing that there was an opportunity for learning. In fact, I didn’t know many stories for the first 32 years of my life. Well, not long after this video posted, I was saved and am now a completely changed man. I feel moved to earnestly, genuinely...but also respectfully...offer myself or other resources to talk/discuss about the Bible and specifically the Gospel. Reach out any time in any way you can find a way to discuss.
Thank you for going and filming this ..... I'm very impressed!! Ive been to Israel and enjoyed going to the Holy Land Experience a few years ago while on vacation at Disney ..... very educational.
Cool video Tim and Jen. Interesting video, I always see holy experience while heading to universal but I've never been. Great video. keep up the great work
Tim Jen The Musical Instrument That Adam referred to as antelope horn is called a Shophar Horn or also known as a Rams Horn from a ram sheep . The instrument was used for many different proposes and reasons .
I HAVE to watch this because over the summer my Uber driver got me lost in Orlando and I was abandoned near the Holy Land Experience (alone, at midnight!). Fun times..!
Been here twice, the theming is amazing..the cruxifiction scene was intense.I cried my eyes out.the roman guards were amazing. The horns are called shofars. Def go back when you have more time, there is sooo much to see and do there, its really cool how they make the bible come alive.
Wow! I’m a recently new subscriber, i love all your videos. I especially loved this video. My faith is a huge part of my life and I’ve always wanted to go here. Thanks for sharing! I hope you guys get to go back to see some more shows!
"Look how skinny my little bun is" Oh my goodness, Jenn, I cracked up...don't know why I thought that was funny, but I did. Come on, people, tell me I'm not the only one.
I didn't think Holy Land would be cool, but it looked interesting. I'd really be down to go see it. The show was intense, but every year in thee Philippines they do the same kind of show during Holy Week. They literally nail men to the cross as they imitate the passion. My cousin has done it before. That's really intense. I'm from California so I've never seen anything like that in real life before.
The castle that you saw on the model was actually the temple of which the wailing wall is the only part left. Also the animal horns you saw are called shofar and it's used by the priest and made of a rams horn. Just FYI. I'm glad you had a good time.
I've visited the Holy Land before and really enjoyed it, this brought back memories. It's just a replica of where Jesus started his preaching work, and of things that happened to him while he was on earth. The childrens area you showed wasn't there when i visited, but i don't find it offensive at all. It's no worse than the cartoons or work books that churches put out to help the young ones learn more about God and Christ. Really, I don't understand the uproar. I agree with Jenn, the crucifixion story is always an emotional touching thing. It brought tears to my eyes too. I see nothing wrong with this park. It's good to reach people anyway you can.
Jesus would be offended and here is how I come to that. In the Book, I remember a story where Jesus went into the temple, and saw money changers. He was mad and he whipped the scribes and the pharisees. This place is no different. It's satan in a sunday dress, pure and simple.
I lived in Orlando for 4 months and had no idea this existed, pretty cool! It reminds me a lot of a miniature version of The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs. Great video, as usual.
I had to come and check out what this place was like after seeing the news today that it had been sold. I read that it opened in 2002 but I could swear that it's been there at least since the mid 90's when I started going to Orlando. I don't remember it ever not being there. Thanks for taking me there!
I feel the same as many do about monetizing of our faith is wrong. On the other hand, it does allow and teach stories of the Bible in way that allow some people that might not have understood before. Some of us come to our faith in different ways. This may or may not be the best, but as long as it guides people in a positive way to God, who are we to judge?
Holy macaroni! I hadn't even heard of this place. I loved how all the people were walking together, almost following Jesus at one point. That is crazy! And the theming is very on-point. You're right, there is a very Epcot feel to the place. I'm so glad you guys are covering new & unique places, places you may otherwise not visit if you're down in Orlando. ❤❤
Great vlog i did not know that plave was there next time we are in the area we will go see it. Thanks again hope to see you both soon on the next vlog.
"Are you allowed to take a picture with Jesus??" Best quote ever.
Yes I was there last October and we took pictures with him.
I would love to go!
For more Orlando theme park videos, and for families in wheelchairs, SUBSCRIBE to my channel! Thanks!
LOL BEST QUOTE EVER!
Thrills On Wheels Did you ever visit that new Bible museum in Washington DC?
The fact that you guys did this with an open mind and non judgemental, makes you guys even more awesome in my book whether you believe in it or not.
"There's Adam, talking to Jesus"
You don't hear that every day :)
The "Crucifixion Show at 11:00"; darkest theme park show ever...
I was a little disappointed that they didn't have dining experiences called 'The Last Supper' or 'Cheeses for Jesus' , an opportunity missed.
Thanks for posting your vlog; I've been curious about what's inside there for years x x
I want to know who puts... "I'm Jesus . Seven days a week!" On his resume. Lol!
i just want to thank y'all for being so respectful regardless of what yalls personal beliefs might be. and i also want to thank y'all for not being afraid to make a youtube video like this. much love and God bless!

dailycaprice I hear ya agreed. I love Jesus and appreciate it too.
Thanks for visiting this interesting place and reviewing it without a trace of cynicism or negativity. Your genuine positive attitudes are why I subscribed and keep on watching!
I've been waiting all day! I've always wanted to see what this was all about. Thanks for going and showing us!
Starfish were so much more awesome when Jesus lived. I mean... they looked super friendly.
That scale model of Jerusalem looks really impressive.
This place is like something you'd see on the Simpsons, blissfully unaware it's a parody of itself. The only thing missing is the 'Bort' Holy Land license plates.
usfgeek1 comment of the day
We need more Bort license plates in the Gift Shop. Repeat, we are sold out of Bort license plates!
@@hastyberford i half expected Ned Flanders to make an appearance.

Caroline Guercio HOSANNA HEY SANNA SANNA SANNA HO SANNA HEY SANNA HOSANNA HEY JC JC YOURE ALRIGHT BY ME SANNA HO SANNA HEY SUPERSTARRRRR

Caroline Guercio that would be glorious
This is the strangest thing I have ever seen.
james howell I watched the whole thing thinking that, and just slightly confused. Then I read this and new it wasn't just me.
D Mac I think money was involved in the making of this video haha. Tim's always fussy with his food, he said the burger was good, but looked like shit? How does that add up!
james howell... Did you notice he never gave an after meal review either 😕
At the end Jenn thanked Holy Land Experience for"having them", so my guess is they got in free
The idea of being able to watch Jesus getting crucified whilst I chomp away at a turkey leg just seems wrong
James and Kelly Why?
I am finding this a year later. But I used to work at the Smokey Mountain Passion Play back in the 80s outside Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. I swear they are using our old script!

Slightly terrifying as a Marine Biologist, because I know how difficult it would be to finance perhaps an Evolution Land in central Florida...
right?
At least Disney and Universal have dinosaur themed places with fossils and DNA? Also a Marine Biologist from Scotland.
haha It's so reassuring to see comments like this. Sometimes it seems like *everyone* is on the Jesus train
Harry Potter World looks like more than enough for my fantasy needs!!
Think I'm gonna stick to Disney and universal....
...
I would go here
This place would make 20x annual profit if they added a Jesus rollercoaster, a Noah’s ark log flume or like an “escape from Egypt with Moses” ride
With Easter Sunday just a few days away this was a great video for you to post. Love the fact you guys went there with an open mind.

Funny though how they get the most extreme weather though haha.
There’s a theme park in Brazil with a similar theme.
I was just getting ready to post the same thing......

Mary's got some amazing pipes!
I was close to crying of laughter for that whole performance. Plus, I am pretty sure "Jesus" missed a few notes.
are you going to the opening day of volcano Bay ?
Yes or no
i would assume they would
Of coarse they are

Did you guys go specifically for Easter?
This seems weirdly tacky.
I have always wondered what that was now I know thank you so much

To be tax exempt under state and Federal laws, they would have to meet certain requirements of the state and Federal government. The information on the Holy Land Experience website doesn't say specifically that they are tax exempt, but I suspect they are exempt under some 'church' designation.
to maintain the church exemption one day a year Is free and it is not publicized in the media.
Aww guys, love this! Thanks for going and sharing!!
Jonah's legs slowly flailing inside the whale got me 😂😂😂🤣🤣
I thought it was cool. It brought the Bible to life. 👍
Love that you guys went there with an open mind. I've always wanted to go to the Holy Land and after watching this, it still stands true.
This feels like it could be a cutaway gag on Family Guy or something. I can't believe this is real life.
I feel sorry for any child that gets taken here instead of Disney.
Thank you guys so much for making a vlog on Holy Land. Hope you get to go back.
Thank you for going and filming this ..... I'm very impressed!! Ive been to Israel and enjoyed going to the Holy Land Experience a few years ago while on vacation at Disney ..... very educational.
That wasn't the palace of Jerusalem. That was the Holy Temple of King Solomon, which stood where the mosque of the dome of the rock stands presently.
Great video guys. Something a little different from normal which is always good. Xxxxx
I HAVE to watch this because over the summer my Uber driver got me lost in Orlando and I was abandoned near the Holy Land Experience (alone, at midnight!). Fun times..!
"Adam's over there talking to Jesus right now" made me laugh so hard for some reason lol
Thanks for sharing! I have been so curious about this place - it's actually pretty cool. I was surprised how good the singing was in the show
That was very interesting Tim and Jenn im glad you had fun my friends.
Been here twice, the theming is amazing..the cruxifiction scene was intense.I cried my eyes out.the roman guards were amazing. The horns are called shofars. Def go back when you have more time, there is sooo much to see and do there, its really cool how they make the bible come alive.
very nice tour. definitely not going since looks like kids would be bored. and probably better at night
Great video Tim and Jenn very interesting place thank you, also Adam saying "now it`s time to pay the price" brilliant
I love that Adam came with you guys. What an interesting place. Thanks for sharing with us.
Wow! now THAT was dramatic! Very cool place!
Loved this video! Makes me very excited to visit in the future, I have always wanted to go.
Wow! I’m a recently new subscriber, i love all your videos. I especially loved this video. My faith is a huge part of my life and I’ve always wanted to go here. Thanks for sharing! I hope you guys get to go back to see some more shows!
Awesome Video !! Great Tour of the Attraction. I'll definitely visit.
Thanks for sharing. I am going to be in the Orlando area and I hope to check this out!
"Look how skinny my little bun is" Oh my goodness, Jenn, I cracked up...don't know why I thought that was funny, but I did. Come on, people, tell me I'm not the only one.
Fun video! Love seeing new content.
It looks really interesting... I rewound the part with the blinky cup because I thought it was a shot glass... lol.
Let's go notification squad!!!!
Emil.y4 yes!!!
So Jesus taught his sermons from atop a skull? That's pretty metal.
Trevor Roth ✊👊👌
Trevor Roth Oof rock on!
that would be cool
Wow! $50 per person to get in? At that price, you should get the blinky strobe light cup for free!
The holy land is amazing! Thank you for sharing this video with us all 👍🏼✌🏼
I've visited the Holy Land before and really enjoyed it, this brought back memories.
It's satan in a sunday dress, pure and simple.
i LOVE it! Thank you for going there! Happy Easter Tim, Jen and Adam! This video is PERFECT for this holiday weekend!
I hope you guys go back to this place soon!
Hey Tim! Remember me?
"That is a serous mustache!" Lmao!
That minor earthquake acting was OSCAR worthy ! LOL
Love your videos Tim!
Glad you guys were able to go!
Awesome video and awesome review. I can’t wait to go. ☺️
Thanks, this was a good review and we may need to stop here during our trip to Orlando next year.
Good timing, with Easter a few days away. Interesting place.
I really loved this video. Thanks so much for sharing. Especially with Easter this Sunday!
1:04 cool Kenny Loggins was the special guest performer lol
