France 2023-07-21: Packrafting Allier (Prades - Chanteuges)

Packrafting Gorges de l'Allier from Prades to Chanteuges with my eldest daughter. We are pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the river, the lack of other paddlers, and the fact that even though we are in the middle of a dry summer, there still seems to be enough water for an enjoyable whitewater experience.

Yes, very nice stretch. We in fact did it twice. Maybe some day I will do a multi-day trip including some of the more challenging upstream sections (in spring). BTW, the metal bridge at 16:48 in your video was installed a couple of days earlier, while we were there.
