This paper boat makes a perfect toy for playing in the sand at the beach! This origami boat is a great origami for beginners and young kids because it is very simple, very easy and very fast.
Made from one square of paper (best results with different colors on each side).

When you say it's ready to sail - does it actually float? If so it's a very clever bit of modelling.
Unfortunately it does not float. At least not for long! But it's a nice model to take pictures, I put a few at the bottom of this page: origami.plus/origami-sailboat

for those of you who used a rectangular paper and cut it into a square it is not origami any more. it is now kirigami!
If you like origami, I recommend buying square pieces of paper. :)
