Great tips Mardi! Our garden prefers rain water so we’ve talked about getting a system set up here. We used to be on hauled water in AZ but now we have water in abundance. HOWEVER….always good to have a water harvesting setup in case the ground water gets contaminated. Plus our garden really prefers it. Thank you so much for all the tips! 😊👍❤️
You are doing the right thing Mardi. I have totes and a 800gal cistern that we don't use any more. Since I tiled the land the spring runs 365 so I put a pump in the lowest catch basin and store it in the totes.
It looks like you have a pretty good system there, Mardi! I was thinking you could also put a tote or pools on the high area above the garden and allow it to weep down hill through a weeping hose or something, too. Then you only have to fill the tote or pools when they get low, and the garden waters itself. -Dusty
Great tips ❤😊
Thank you for these great tips☺
Hello Mardi. I need to get one of those. ☔ Have a blessed day. 😊
Great tips 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much
60mm of rain here over the weekend. Thank you for sharing this with us, Mardi. Stay safe and stay cool
That's a lot of rain! We received some and some high winds yesterday. The totes are filled up.
We love our rain catchment too! 😁😍✌️🇨🇦 Nice setup Mardi!
Thank you ❤

Paying for water is expensive. And thank you so much, everyone's story is inspiring and makes me think of what I can change, make easier or better.

That would work really well, thank you!
And would be such a time saver! I have a bunch of hose I collected last year I could use for that.
Thanks for the tips! As a fellow glasses wearer...doesn't it drive you nuts when rain drops get on your lenses? LOL!
@@lindawilson4625 Thank you and it sure does!!!! And when they fog up😳
