@@UkuleleWineTime When you clearly demonstrated the correct way to format forefinger and thumb into a strumming superpower, my uke world tilted! Such a seemingly small and obvious thing but what a huge difference.
Wow, that is so awesome to hear!! Glad it made a difference for you, it's a great way to strum with more support and control. Enjoy!! @@magicjoeblack5761
Hi Rose - I'm so happy to hear that! Yes, it is such a slight adjustment, and it can make a huge difference. Great! I'm curious - what was happening with your hand before you tilted it?
@@UkuleleWineTime ...Thanks for the reply. I had the ukulele in a "flat plane" that I was looking down at so my hand was strumming away from the front of me instead of back and forth up and down. Kind of hard to explain but basically I had no flow in strumming because I was moving my hand sideways. Activities in the learning curve phase are always interesting. :)
I saw and obtained your Workbook before realizing you had a series of step by step videos. Far out! ;-) ...So I'll practice them step by step...taking my time...slow and easy is better. Did I say Thank You! ;-)
As a self taught player with ton of bad habits....... that was a lightbulb moment game changer. Honestly. Huge Thanks.
Amazing to hear!! And you are very welcome. 😊 I'm curious, what was your exact "aha" moment?

Thank you for the point with regard to tilting the ukulele. It made so much difference when I put it into the correct position.😊

Ahhh I see. Love that you figured out the tilt! How is strumming feeling these days?
