One of my favourite tracks ever in the early 90"s when I was gone on.E" :-) class track, still brjngs shivers up my spine, back when life was carefree and no worries..
Ahhh fuck this brings back memories of much warmer summers, endless blue skies, endless pills n powder, and your pick of whatever rave you wanted to do each weekend! This tune still holds up today, in fact it sounds better today than it did back in 93, you know, music was more experimental back then, producers had their own sound, now producers just copy and paste shit, which makes bangers like this track ever more essential!
Un des morceau techno de détroit a mettre au panthéon de la musique pour l'éternité. Un son puissant, une TR 909 qui déchire et ce super Phaser qui fait finalement la couleur particulière de ce morceau.
I disagree man, it's way too warm/euphoric! My suggestions would include: Sonic Destroyer: ua-cam.com/video/WBa7zoT7lMc/v-deo.html Ground Zero (The Planet): ua-cam.com/video/zhT2O67Pm3M/v-deo.html The Seawolf: ua-cam.com/video/eABkbtJKgCk/v-deo.html Death Star: ua-cam.com/video/2uIH859SVdM/v-deo.html And (above all) Pennington's Nocturbulous: ua-cam.com/video/K0QD4FPy328/v-deo.html
The Orbit 😊 I still have a vague memory of having a cup of tea in the little side room upstairs to calm down when Sven Vath was playing. Great, sweaty times. RIP
I only moved to Leeds in 2008 and was only 22 at the time and still hooked on Defected and Ministry of Sound at the time. Then my taste evolved and I found out about real techno, Detatched at City Arcade and then heard stories about Orbit which was well out of my reach by then sadly. So I always have a little cry over the fact, I wasn't born at the better time and place and could have never experienced it back then myself. Still, the guys who do the Orbit reloaded thing at Wire these days are surely throwing hell of an old school techno thing! Gutted about next one with Luke Slater in May but I'm sure once they reschedule, it will blow off the roof even though it's only a basement :D o/

it's just absolutely ridiculous that this was released in 1993, could be released 50 years from now and still sound futuristic

The absolute benchmark for techno. Remember Juan Atkins dropping this at The End club in London - epic
WHY can't dance music be THIS GOOD anymore!?
noone has talent anymore

There are 1000 tracks created this year IN THIS EXACT genre that are THIS GOOD!....you just have to sort through the haystack
Because you don’t listen to contemporary dance music.
You'd need to start listening again..🌠🥁💥❤️🔥
