A pleasure to see groups still getting together to do drives like we used to in the 70's. Nowadays around here in ny no one does big drives anymore, mainly because all the family farms are gone and everything is posted. Good luck in the future.
Favorite moment of the season was when Zach rattled in that stud in Ohio. Didn’t get the shot but that was a beautiful buck.. showed just how fast the thing can happen
We do a lot of deer drives in MO on public land and have done so for 25 years. If I could offer a bit of advice: the sitters need to hide. The does usually come through first and the bucks follow. When the does bust you the bucks turn inside out. Also the sitters need to be able to see the deer coming (not pop up over a hill and be in your lap). Set up so you can see the whole valley. Thank you for having a dedicated camera man. Nothing worse than watching deer drive videos on go pros or tactacams. Great group of guys you have there, just need to tweak your game a little. Drives are effective and fun and great exercise
The closing comments were spot on. Having a good group of friends or family able to conquer those hills is miraculous. The good ole days we used ta have able body's to do drives. But as time goes people either move away or die and the rest there health goes to shit. So even though y'all didn't harvest a deer . its still priceless time in the woods.
I enjoy how you are very successful at strategizing deer all over the country...and being from Ohio it was reaffirming to see you having a hard time of it - like many of us here.
Hunting season has been over for me since November here in Wisconsin. Thankfully I’ve been able to live vicariously through THP since then! Thanks for posting quality content!
Joseph we have until February 7th here in Ohio.. plenty of time to bag that elusive buck. Which is what I'm doing. All else fails, I'm headed South to N. Alabama and trying there. They end February 10th
I'm glad I found your channel, I have not hunted since 2004 and you guys bring me back to the days when we had deer drives in Ontario Canada. Keep up the good work boys and you all know the sayin when its brown its down. Good luck....
Another great video from the THP. deer drives are an awesome way to hunt deer, it’s exciting, gets the adrenalin flowing, all your senses come alive, waiting, anticipating a look, a shot, all of these guys have a tremendous attitude, and the way they look at each hunt, all opinions matter, love the comradery, and whether they get a deer or not, their attitude remains the same. Look forward to next vid guys🦌🦌🦌👍🤙
Roughly 13 miles on the boots per drive day here in Maryland. We have a primitive season this year Feb 1-3. If you'd like to make some more content come film us making some more mountain drives here in Maryland on February 1st with side-cap and flintlock muzzleloaders.
Fun facts are great. Public is ok during archery season, reality of public land, usually see small game hunters, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom pickers etc.... LOL, great video.
Man that was some thick cover! Even a 20 yard shot looked like a challenge. That buck was a giant! Thick cover grows them big, even on public property. Be tough to get one out or even find it after the shot. Lots of challenges. Still love it!
Great video. Hard to call them does from that distance we used to see shed bucks pretty common during Ohio muzzleloader. Part of the reason we don’t go anymore since no does allowed.
i really appreciate you guys. onx/maps has bettered my hunting ways 10 fold and thats thanks to THP. i love the way you showed the drives mapped out, with "standers", (call em watchers here in PA). Love the education you share with all of us, the passion u guys have is inspiring. this was one of my favorite episodes! thanks so much for you're content, please keep it coming. god bless
Y’all should try some turkey hunting in Ohio public land if you want a Challenge, I have been hunting them for years and yet to get one. I would like to see if you guys could get one

***No Deer Were Harmed During In The Making Of This Film***
just wasted my time watching this.
I can’t believe you actually saw a grouse in ohio
Anyone have an explanation as to what caused the decline of grouse population in Ohio.?
@@zackmansky6632 mainly loss of habitat. Forest got too old. Not enough clearcuts, reverting farmland etc.
@@williamtyler4428 West Nile virus
Me and my old man used to clean up on grouse 20 years ago. The explosion of coyote and even bobcat the last 5 years has put a hurting on them.
Used to have quite a few in PA 30 years ago.
It's what hunting is suppose be...A Good time had by all! Great Video...wish I was there! Nice job! Enjoyed it!
You guys had a awesome season next season will be here before you know it.

We use to do drives when our whole group was younger. We had like 15-20 people. Now there's only like 6-8 of our original group left.
That was a great video, and what a great bunch of deer camp guys.
Great video...another reason why I love hunting private land.
Loved the introduction to all the guys and their personalities. Great hunt, keep up the good work!
THP videos are TOP NOTCH! The very best ..... but man they are also the kings of clickbait thumbnails!!!!!! Not hating just saying ..... we all do it
Thx for showing us it's not about killing its about exercise and spending time with friend's
Happy Birthday Zach
thanks THP, great bucks kicked up, I bet with a big group of 15-guys there was some great off camera/cut bloopers !!
love this. this is the most fun way to hunt with friends.
I soooo miss hunting camp. So many good memories. Many of those who were there are no longer with us.
Thats what its all about spending time outdoors with some good friends. Most of my buddies tell me to leave the camera at home.
Finally some driving, let's go guys💯👍♥️
I love deer hunting
Zach!!!!! And the Ohio pack! This is priceless 🤣
Anybody ever look for signs of a wounded deer. Hope so
Weird Al hunting deer now..... cool 😎
born and raised in Ohio...is that some beautiful country or what.
Me too and yes, love it
Ohio!
What role does community involvement play in managing wild boar as an invasive species?
Fun facts are great. Public is ok during archery season, reality of public land, usually see small game hunters, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom pickers etc.... LOL, great video.
Nice job on putting all that footage together.
Best intro of the season🤣
Sweet video! Deer drives are the best.

THP, you’ve got the right recipe, awesome videos, great crew 💪🏼🇺🇸💯
Great deer tour. Don’t know which I liked better. Zachs archery hunt or Greg’s decoy buck. Great season
I hate pushing with muzzle loafers lol takes all the fun out of the fast action shooting 👍
Thought you guys were gonna get one this time. Thanks for the content
LOL @ the Ben Fun Fact! I can def see a resemblance though!
What a great video always putting out that good content
It is just super fun to watch!
I’ve never been so frustrated watching a deer hunting video 😂
Great video. Hard to call them does from that distance we used to see shed bucks pretty common during Ohio muzzleloader. Part of the reason we don’t go anymore since no does allowed.

Awesome video! Don't have to always get one... I got my buck opening morning muzzleloader in Ohio at 8 am , nice 10 point buck bout 250lbs!
You guys need to get behind a tree or blow downs and stay still. That buck looked decent, to bad no shooting
That is always fun! My brothers and I have done it too
Good day when thp post
Got a kick out of Brad not being Catman's brother!!! 😂
Happy birthday Zach!
That last buck was big

Watching the video I noticed you are in my neck of the woods in wheelersburg 🤟🏼 we drive deer every gun season in Wayne crazy how small the world is!
