I believe that the problem is is that the star that Beyoncé was raised to be is not a star that is relatable to this generation so her music alone is not enough for us to support all of her other business endeavors because she doesn’t have a personal and para social relationship with her audience in today’s time. These product drops seem more like a cash grab, and not considered Target Demographic: The price points of these new products don’t align with the economic realities of most of her fans. Again not considered. Most of her fans come from underserved, marginalized & low income communities (so the high price points are jarring and not accessible). Marketing: Beyonce has created this aura of mystery and so these product drops do not come across as organic or authentic to her. As someone mentioned it is not enough to sell a product based on name value only. Relatability is key to any product success. Aside from her music, a lot of fans/customers have a difficult time relating to her as her lifestyle is well beyond their reach. But in all honesty there’s a bit of fatigue around all of the products released so quickly . I think she should consider placing her items in store so they get foot traffic and ppl can get a sense of the value of the physical product. I got the cecred hydrating shampoo and that shampoo alone speaks for itself, it’s really good and has lots of slip, so the product is valuable, but I think it’s time for it to be in stores.

I agree with the video author that there’s not sufficient time given to how these product drops will perform. These product drops seem more like a cash grab, and not considered
Target Demographic:
The price points of these new products don’t align with the economic realities of most of her fans. Again not considered. Most of her fans come from underserved, marginalized & low income communities (so the high price points are jarring and not accessible).
Marketing:
Beyonce has created this aura of
mystery and so these product drops do not come across as organic or authentic to her. As someone mentioned it is not enough to sell a product based on name value only. Relatability is key to any product success. Aside from her music, a lot of fans/customers have a difficult time relating to her as her lifestyle is well beyond their reach.
BTS:
There could be something brewing behind the scenes that is making it necessary for Beyonce to drop these products. We can only speculate…

The price is reasonable, I just think she’s been really doing a lot of product releases its a little overwhelming and seems like they are direct reinvestment plans (D.R.I.Ps), but what she’s stacking her money fast to invest into, who knows. But in all honesty there’s a bit of fatigue around all of the products released so quickly .
I think she should consider placing her items in store so they get foot traffic and ppl can get a sense of the value of the physical product.
I got the cecred hydrating shampoo and that shampoo alone speaks for itself, it’s really good and has lots of slip, so the product is valuable, but I think it’s time for it to be in stores.

There are quality candles that free of these chemicals, but they cost a lot more money. Scent and fragrance are also costly, hence the difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum.
