This video really helped. Was able to upload my first every app as a professional designer (I still don't believe I am a developer lol). Currently having my app tested. THANK YOU!!
Great video helped me so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Can you make a video that shows how to do second release of the app. And also do the one where the app has in-app purchases. Which will be in follow up version please
Yes! Once you have a build on test flight, instead of making a new release, you can test it instead on test flight. So all the steps up until that point. Then you'l have to get testflight on your phone and add yourself
Hey Great content ! but i have an issue if you could help, after submitting using eas cli it does not show any error message but even after 2 hours since I have submitted nothing is showing up on my build section of the apple connect
Did you make sure you do eas submit: docs.expo.dev/submit/ios/ You might have just built it, but it's another step to submit. If that's not the problem, I would go into eas, and look at the specific build, and see if there was any problems submitting to the ios store: expo.dev/accounts/yourusername/settings/usage
When I run "eas build --platform ios" I get this error "Authentication with Apple Developer Portal failed! You have no team associated with your Apple account, cannot proceed. (Do you have a paid Apple Developer account?)" What to do ?
Yes it looks like you need a apple developer account. It costs 99 per year. You can make one here: developer.apple.com/ Then you can log in using "eas login" docs.expo.dev/app-signing/apple-developer-program-roles-and-permissions/
Depends on how backed up they are. This one only took about 24 hours, and I didn't have any issues where I had to resubmit. So it was relatively quick. Usually doesn't take longer than a few days though.

do you know can ı change my team name ? cant found anything about that. :(
I believe 6.9 iphone and 13 ipad are the only required ones. You might be able to get away with 6.5, but I'm not sure. I would just submit it, and before you can review the app it will give an error and let you know if you do need the 6.9 screenshot.
@@danhnhanchi6501 No shouldn't be a problem, just might have to deselect the ipad option in xcode. Not sure if there is a way to do it with expo. This thread I found explains a bit more: forums.developer.apple.com/forums/thread/701706
Straight to the point, not even saying Hello. I love that. Thank you
Ty!
Awesome content! It turned the app submission process easir, thanks
No problem!

No problem! Thanks for watching!
If I could, I would give this video 100 likes, amazing
Thanks!
feel free to make more youtube accounts
Thanks for this great video. Does eas charge you anything up to this point; building the app and submitting for a review?
You get free 30 builds, and after that they charge you about a dollar per build.

Here is more info ^^
Nice one
Thanks!
thank you it helped me
no problem! Thanks for watching
Is it possible to do without eas? (As in just running it on your phone without having to do npx expo start)
nevermind, I figured it out. just edit the scheme to release in xcode
@@sheehanmunim Nice glad you figured it out! For anyone else you basically just build, and submit to the app store all in xcode.
Great content Andrew. quick question, does this same process helps to view the app in TestFlight?
Yes! Once you have a build on test flight, instead of making a new release, you can test it instead on test flight. So all the steps up until that point. Then you'l have to get testflight on your phone and add yourself

Xcode is not needed? Cos I don’t have a Mac 😢
Yes xcode is not needed. You can use EAS services to upload to the apple store.
@@andrewheimdevthank you for your reply
One last thing how can test things on my iPhone
Would it be made available on TestFlight
