Awesome video, and suprisingly high quality for how small you are. The only think that I wanted to add is that you must also keep track of the history of your world, as your langauge to not become so stale (this is true in every part of wordbuilding), but using the natural enviroment only works for creating the base template. You don't have to go full masochist, but you need to show how historty affects the language. Like in this example, maybe the zafiri were once treathened by a big empire and bc they were inexperienced (which means they didn't have military terms or violence related words) in war they allied with another neighbouring kingdom, and during the war they adapted and adopted words for weapons, tactical manouvers, and violent acts from that kingdom's language

Thank you for posting this. I'm playing with writing fantasy and was interested, inspired by Tolkien, to explore fictional languages. I appreciate the system you've put together here. I'm sure I'll be coming back to check this video out again.

    Great work! ❤
Only think I can point out is that it’s more or less impossible to carve decorative circles in wood

This was super helpful. Making a language and even just thinking about languages always seemed like a daunting task but this vid really simplifies it and makes to fairly easy to do. Great vid

Nice & packed with info, but short.
Dude didn't even try stretching it to the 10-minute mark lol
Wonder if this'll become a trend on YT.
