He just needs to work on communication, aim, map awareness, crosshair placement, loadouts, sniper aim, rocket flicks, sticky spots, grenade airshots, pop ubers, positioning, sentry positions, defensive ability, bunny hopping, and getting a kill.

Seeing Tf2 and criminally underrated in the same sentence just seems surreal to me, like you'd be hard pressed to find someone who played it and they don't say that its one of the greatest shooters of all time or they say that the game is so good that it actually fucks over their real life to an extent or at the bare minimum simply reccomeneds it

I’ve tried to get 4 of my friends into the game as I’m new to it myself and have only played it for a few months now. Not a single one of them stuck with it and I tried my best to give them good info and better settings (because tf2s standard settings aren’t too good). Idk how they can’t see the magic like I can
@S S the main thing that drives them away is the high skill ceiling demanded by the game, even though casual is not that bad tbh. It demands you to experiment, albeit its pretty bad at giving good tips like youtube videos. Even with FPS experience, i didnt really get into it mostly because of my shitty prediction skills with soldier and demoman, this is while not even mentioning the punishing death cooldown placed on you by a single mistake. It takes commitment to get into this game, but I dont say i regret it at all.

Are there specific servers that are good to play on? I've been wanting to get back into tf2
Tf2 is such a weird game its in my opinion the best take on an arena shooter and I love the variety that valve has given the classes with the items. Its hard for the game to get stale because you have 8 other classes to play if you get bored of one and on top of that there are all the sub classes. The movement is amazing and just feels good because source engine just has good feeling movement. On top of that the game also hasn't really died. You will always find casual servers and if you really cant find one you have all the high quality servers to play on.
