Thank you so much for these videos. I just started waterpolo for the first time in my life at 28 years old. I suck immensely between players who've been playing since age 6. There is so much that I don't know about this sport and these videos are of great help!
+1 for this. I also discovered water polo late in life, Starting at 40. I learned a ton from these videos, and now at 44(sadly due to Covid shutdowns ), I’m back with a beginner friendly club and relearning the game and these videos are immensely helpful. Please keep them coming!
Yes we are planning on doing one. We are going to use actually Refs to explain it too. However, we have to wait for games to start back up in order to film it. Hoping that will be soon!
You get as much as you can with your off arm from the chest to belly button area. If all you can reach is a straight arm then you straight arm move the defender. If you can reach back with your off arm and wrap him up then you do that. That’s about as good as I can explain with words. Hope it helps.
