im currently in the college app process and i just binged all of your videos on life as a Brown student. I've fallen in love with the school and I really hope I'll be able to go in fall of 2021
Stress culture is so bad at my school. I go to a public boarding school (I know weird right) and students are so competitive they got rid of class rank. It’s so crazy dude, we actually secretly all hate each other.
Hi! I'm a senior attending an international school in Korea. I'm thinking of Cornell or Brown for my Early Decision. Personally, I think Brown is really a good fit for me; but realistically, it seems like Cornell is somewhat possible but Brown... not really possible even with ED since our school is very small and until now, only one student got into ivy league school (student who graduated last year was accepted to Cornell). When I search people's opinions about Cornell and Brown, I see a lot of Cornell students getting stressed while for Brown, people mostly explain it as collaborative and chill. I know that both of the schools are academically though, but the atmosphere seemed a lot different. So my question is, does Brown really have a different atmosphere compared to other ivy schools? Also, are classes in big size like 100~200 students? (I saw Cornell student talking about an introductory course that had 300 people and how that was hard to adjust... I think I'll have hard time on those kind of classes too since our school is really small - like 50 students in our grade.)
Hi May! I love your videos so much and Brown is my dream college sz I wanted to ask you if you have any friends majoring in philosophy for them to talk about their courses and professors. Thanks for your videos, they are amazing😊
A little known factoid: The highest paying four year degree can be earned at Montana Tech, Butte Montana. It is their petroleum engineering degree. Plus Tech tuition is cheap. Only drawback to such a degree? You don't get to wear a business a suit and you do get dirty.
It should be at around the 16 minute mark, but as a Brown student you can cross-register at RISD. You need to get approval from the professor at RISD, then fill out a few forms, and you should be set! The RISD course catalog is searchable online.
