i can see the difference between 60 frame rates and 120 frame rates. when it comes to 60 fps, there is a slight delay but in 120 fps players, they can see the opponent before the opponent sees him. Also, the fact that 120 fps can give such a disadvantage to 60 fps players due to aim punch. basically, they can see you faster in 120 fps than 60 fps but that depends on both pings of the players and game tickrates and etc.

Play on a phone and you will know what pay to win is really like. The advantage of 120 fps is nothing compared to what ipads have over phones. Plus in the real matches with variable pings the advantage of 120 fps is pretty much negligible.
and the biggest advantage of 120fps ipad pro is screen delay. On 60 fps ipads/phones u got a huuuge touchscreen delays (around 40-100+ms), but on ipad pro the delay is almost non-existent, so your aim is way more sharp and accurate
yea, I know that now. Didnt find any real numbers on it, so I didnt include it, because I didnt want to have too much "source: dude trust me" type stuff in the video, so that I can be "proud" of the video, even if my opinion eventually changes. Thanks a lot for mentioning this tho. I previously only ever felt the huge upgrade from cheap android phone to 60fps iPad, which was pretty significant and to be fair, I barely felt anything from 60 to 120fps iPad. Also, I feel like those differences are largely based on just the hardware being better, and the scope of the video was more to talk about the oversights and the cases where the game adds to the advantage a higher Framerate provides.
@@PHiNiX haha dude you won't believe how it is playing c ops on an android these days , us mobile players can literally identify people playing on ipad by the way they kill us 💀
Its not fully correct what I said.. its more like everything below 60fps will look like its slightly flickering to your brain. 60fps is the point, where it turns from flickering into a constant stream of information. Thats also the reason why, aside from movies and tv shows, pretty much everything you watch will be shot in 60fps. If you look outside, you also see a constant stream of information. Its essentially unlimited fps, but your brain will not bother trying to see more then 60fps, because its sufficient to be "not flickering". if you have more then 60fps on a screen and you focus on nothing but this screen, then you will obviously be able to make use of more information then just the 60fps and you will get "even less flickering" and essentially a more pure and concentrated stream of information. This then works up to 240fps From that point onwards, the difference it makes, is not worth the effort for both your brain and probably your bank account as well.. Most csgo players stop going further then 240hz screens, even tho 360hz is possible and already exists for a few years now.. Some even stick to 144.. I believe if the people who use those things to make millions have a reason to stop caring after 240, there is no reason to go further for anyone else.. Also, in games that arent shit, the fps have such a little impact that it wouldnt make sense to go higher then 240 anyways..
I would agree with you , except from the fact you are taking away the pov of personal reaction times. For example, due to me have 190ms reaction time (110ms faster than usual reaction times) i can out react most 120’s. I feel like 120 is a bid advantage however 60 can be played at a high level. However , you could argue if i got used to 120 i would be almost unkillable by 120... just depends ig.
well.. the issue with the reaction time in c-ops is, that you can literally not even see the dudes that kill you, thats how bad the peekers advantage is.. My reaction time is good too, but I think in the old ways of playing the game and all the new gen shit just doesnt make sense to me.. I'd probably get more kills against the old Kings then against some 3000 kills spec ops randies with 120.. It really depends, but I havent seen anyone who has tried out both 60 and 120 and disagreees with the video..
@@PHiNiX dude fr, the new gen randies with 120 and low ping are so annoying. They're so bad at crosshair placement and sprays but end up killing opponents just bcoz of these advantages. So cringe man
I had never lost a 1v1, even tho I have a low end android device which can hardly provide me with 45-50fps, but I still kept winning, against players with better devices, mostly cuz i have good set of reflexes that I very much love, let it be pubg or critical ops, except for one time when I played against a 120fps c-ops player, I thought it would be no big deal and challenged him like I always do to good players I see, but he was so insanely fast in 1v1, even my reflexes had me lose hope of winning that 1v1 :{
I have no problem against 120 players as i have reached master 2 with huawei p10 lite... But the fact they smurf alot thats sooo annoying while the equal a smurf with 3.3 kd with plat 1 with 1.1 kd and 10k kills
i showed this to my friend who said 120 fos and 60fps dont make a difference (hes never played against a 120 player) after watching this yk what he said ??????? "If only he used his math degree on something useful" lmfao.
i am fine with a lot of them, since I can tell from their playstyle that they have been decent before getting the ipad.. on the other hand there are some who have 5 iq and just run around and prefire everything with their 120fps.. those are annoying..
I think that they are trying their best, but they simply dont play their game enough to know what they do and their community is oversaturated with toxic 7 year olds who want free credits.. that this community was especially "summoned" by past mistakes from the devs themselves, is a fact, but nothing that can be changed afterwards
it really didnt.. the game has a lot of substencial issues that are so much fucking bigger then viewmodels.. People who complain about this shit, either are like cheeseman and have fully lost faith in the game ever becoming good again and therefore just see every change making the game a slight bit worse every time, or they are just incredibly fucking ignorant and dont see the.potential the game has.. I barely notice the viewmodel change anymore.. It doesnt affect gameplay in 99.9% of matches so it doesnt matter at all.. Sure, the old ones looked better, but even the old ones looked fucking awful compared to the ones from 2016..
it doesnt matter which were "better" its important for them to not give an advantage to any particular side of the playerbase.. I surely prefer the bomb and ak model of 2016, but the bomb was colored in a way, where it was essentially impossible to find for small screen players and the ak model covered a huge part of the screen for phone and almost nothing for ipad players.. I surely also prefer the old ones, but unlike many other changes recently made, they were changed for a reason and there is no priority in changing them again, since there are many other, much more important changes to be made which could actually solve many gamebreaking issues.. The point is not, what is subjectively better, but what is the most balanced.. I am not saying, that everything should be changed to make the game playable on a nokia, what I say is, that noone should be put at a disadvantage, because of a device.. You cant complain about 120fps on one hand, but support broken viewmodels on the other
movement speed decrease aka fixing 120fps being p2w fixing run and gun changing the crouch animation gun balancing anticheat update ingame settings to standards later then 2015 fixing software relates ghost touch millions of compatibility issues between maps and new models to just name a few there is more then enough, you just gotta try to see it aswell
Here's my case Today after the recent update while i was grinding in a qd my device suddenly went to 80 fps (it has always been a 60fps device) i was shocked and as i know cops now have 120 fps compatible in phone's too i was curious to see if i can set my target framerate to 120 or 90, but sad, its only showing 60 and 30. I tried with lowest graphics or screen scale or etc but i cant find any solution to increase my frame rate. Any help?
if your device isnt made for it, there is no way to increase your framerate.. Most devices could probably manage 80 or 90 fps just from their performance alone, but they only have a 60 hz display, so there wouldnt be any need to put the device under additional load by generating more heat and draining more battery power, if the additional fps cant be displayed either way
@@PHiNiX bro bro bro! I have display refresh rate of 90 hz, my processor etc are also fare enough to manage 80-90fps, update: i played 2-3 ranks and i again saw that my fps went 70-80 many times but then fixed to 60. So will there be any possible way to get that 80fps constant? It could help a lot cause i saw the noticable heavy difference between 60 and 80 fps.
the server refreshes the position of players 64 times per second in csgo matchmaking and 128 times in esea or faceit in c-ops it is 20 20 is still usable, but the devs have moved to a rather fast paced gameplay in the recent years and with increasing the difference between the player sizes of being crouched and not crouched, together with the higher movement speed, the increased running and jumping accuracy aswell as the removed cooldown times for accuracy resets, this makes a tickrate of 20 simply not sufficient so synchronize all of that.. Because of device limitations (fps on both ios and android would suck if they did) they are not able to updgrade the servers and therefore the only way to fix it, is changing the earlier mentioned features to suit what the servers are capable of consistently working with..
Its not pay to win. Pay2Win means if u pay something to the developers (critical force) u will get more powerful weapons/damage than others who dont pay them. In this case you are paying for the iPad which is apple's money and not critical ops
no.. pay to win means that spending more money will get you a sizeable ingame advantage who gets that money does not matter in the slightest.. If it was a small advantage and not really changeable or even intended like it is with framerate on pc, then there would be nothing wrong with that.. CFE's changes across the last 2 years though, have highly been favoring players with a higher framerate, so it is intentional by the devs and therefore pay2win.. that they dont have any financial gain from it, also isnt fully right.. C-Ops was the first game to feature 120fps, together with standoff 2, almost 2 years before it is now slowly being added into tencent's games.. Therefore, everyone who had an ipad pro wanted to experience the framerate in games and therefore started playing c-ops or standoff.. With the factor of how OP it actually is, they will most likely enjoy it and keep playing it, therefore, the game being shit in that regard gives C-Ops more players then if it wasnt..
@@PHiNiX Its not cfe's fault even if they want to make 120 balanced to 60 they cant. FPS is a part of the hardware and the devs can not do anything related to it. CFE already tried making it balanced by decreasing the vision on iPads especially 120 fps. And increasing on phones or mid-smaller screen devices. You can't blame the devs since they can not do anything about it and they are already trying to make it balanced in 1.18.0 Update. Also most articles from Reddit shows that 120 FPS players experience nearly *No* difference from 60 fps. Edit: On 120 fps devices player tend to experience more lag. If you take a look at c ops live streams all devs are playing on iPad pro which is 120FPS. Although its a 120 fps and should be smoother than 60 but the FPS drop is too high, way higher than 60 fps. You will suddenly drop from 120/199 to either 70 or in critical ops live streams 45 fps. It might not seem a lot 45/70 is still a lot of fps but from 120 to 70 or 45 its like your game being stuck for a few milliseconds.
i know how 120fps works.. thats why I made the video in the first place.. My point is that the difference is a lot more severe then it is in other games who also support higher framerate.. I never said that its the fault on 120fps itsself, but much more the way in which it is fit into the game.. In 2018, when it was first introduced, there was a noticeable difference for sure, but by far not to the same extend to which it exists now.. There are ways to work on that, but the vision and viewmodels isnt one.. I am noone to complain about them, but they are not gonna change anything in the long run.. It improves the game on small screen devices for sure and that is great, but its not gonna miraculously revive competetive or fix the balancing of the game or its meta.. its a great start, but nothing that will fix everything and nothing so impressive and amazing that it should be brought up in every conversation.. It shouldnt be a proof of good development to fix something that was broken for almost 5 years..
@@sea9025 noone said that they added anything for 120fps.. I said that many changes that they made, shifted the game to more fast paced gameplay (which doesnt really fit the style of game in the first place) and that is something that, in combination with the horrible servers, makes the meta incredibly favourable for peekers advantage, which is something that favours 120fps players, as I have explained in the video..
People don’t really understand how this works 120 FPS is not over power as u think. master your FPS because pc gaming is all about FPS and so should mobile gaming get used to it U can still be 60 and be better then 120
people miss the difference between Clip Hunting and actual "Pro Gameplay" I feel like its a waste of time, but I might draw that line in a video at some point
true.. but the issue that I rather see is, that there is no way that its done consistently.. With some timing and maybe even superior positioning, anyone can perform better then someone with a better device in some cases.. I have many matches and highlights on my channel, where I hit clips against top level players, teams and people like ExZ for example.. hitting those clips once, doesnt mean that I can do it consistently tho.. This should be the case if the game calls its self skillbased.. You could give me a $20000 setup and I'd still play worse then most people in CS:GO for example, because I suck at the game.. Why should this be different in C-Ops.. I mean, sure, I could get a kill out of maybe 20 against someone who is good at CS, but he is definitely gonna get me more often then not.. In C-Ops its the opposite.. Sure, I could just play like an idiot, just sit in a corner and aim at the door and wait for aim assist to do its thing and probably have a much higher rank and kd, but I would enjoy the game even less and I wouldnt really get clips for my youtube.. I just feel like I will keep playing the game, the way it was originally intended, and do everything I can to make this superior style of playing work again, by helping the devs to make the game skillbased again.. If anyone has an issue with that, they can be my guest...
dude this is like saying csgo is pay2win cause someone plays on 140 fps while orders play on 200-500 fps ofc the players with better device will have the advantage I don’t think u needed to make a whole video on it it’s just normal to be this way
no.. I mentioned how the peekers advantage gained by the fps, is almost exclusive to c-ops and mainly reasoned by the way too high movement speed and low tickrate in c-ops.. this is not the case in csgo, or at least not to a gamebreaking extend.. That people with more fps, but the same skill level play better is perfectly normal, but its not normal that former top level players get destroyed by players of a much lower skill level, just because they have less fps.. If you'd take a top level cs player and gave them only 60hz to work with, they wouldnt play as good as they would with 240hz, but they would still play much better then your average player.. thats how its supposed to be.. In c-ops, mental skill, gamesense etc, is of a way lower value, compared to simple mechanical skill.. Issue is, that the mechanical skill is mainly based on the aim assist, which is just bs
kannst du im nächsten video bitte die ak animation kritisieren.. die anderen probleme idc aber mit 120 sieht die animation beim schießen schon echt beschissen aus
It's not really pay to win I mean games become pay to win when the devs earn the profit and the players who bought something in game have an advantage over others but 120 fps doesn't profit the devs
not really.. it doesnt really matter who gets the profit, the only thing that matters, for the definition "Pay2Win" that you can increase your odds of winning substencially by paying more money, which is clearly the case in C-Ops..
@@PHiNiX breh. You can't just call all the games pay to win then just cuz ipad players get 120 fps and a bigger screen. I agree they have advantages tho :/
Those are advantages that you cant change anything about.. same for framerate in csgo, but the ones explained in the video are incredibly preventable and unnecessary and could easily be fixed, therefore they are either part of the game out of ignorance or bad intention, which makes no difference for the consumer..
related to the video? yes The system that confirms positions all the time, has been in the game already a few years ago.. They removed it at some point and its back now.. It lowerd the effect that peekers advantage has..
There is obviously still an advantage, like there obviously is when you can get more information in the same timeframe. One of the main arguments of the video, being aim punch/hit flinch has been reworked and is much less random now. Critical Ops still suffers from a small skill gap and having a ton of its features simplified, but in the grand scheme of things, the advantages and disadvantages of different framerates are not its main issue anymore. Basically the gap between a good and a bad player is too small, but if you are a bad player on 60fps, you will likely still be a bad player on 120.
I’m on 120 fps and you are a 60 fps player this is so fake iPad Pro screen just gives you a faster touch response and 120 is smoother than 60 yes that’s all this guy thinks he knows it all 😂
thanks to the way too high movement speed, this is the effect that is has on a simplified level. Practically 120fps can profit off of peekers advantage a lot better, which is only an issue because critical ops requires comparably little skill, because aim assist simplifies aiming and most other aspects of gameplay are also simplified for no reason. This makes the normally small advantage more fps are meant to give, uncompensatable. Its not information that I withhold to make the community toxic towards 120fps players, its just an already very dense video and with the given information from the video, I somewhat expected people to be able to make this connection themselves.. This is what the facts look like. Everyone who disagrees with them, either was dogshit on 60fps and cant tell apart the advantages their new device gives and their own improvement as a result of it, or they have simply not played the game before getting an ipad, which should disqualify them from taking part in an argument like this.
depends.. for just c-ops? iPads are massively op in c-ops, mainly because maps are designed around pixel angels and in many cases not even seeing your enemy is a valid concern. do you plan on creating content? If so, I personally have found tablets a lot more convenient to work with for that purpose, in part because of the massive quality difference and in part because of stuff like heat management and just comfort in general. do you use gyro or plan on doing so in the future? do you plan on playing other mobile games competitively in the future? are you the type of person to often play on the go or in changing environments? if the answer to any of these questions is yes, then you might be better off with a phone. I can obviously not make a choice for you, so best I can do is tell you about my experience. prior to getting myself a 60fps ipad back in 2017 I spent years playing on cheaper android phones and even an android tablet. Neither of these have ever satisfied me, because I had the mindset of wanting a new device all the time. Something that Android devices could never give me is longevity. They worked well for a month or two, but especially when using them for several hours on a daily basis, they were starting to become quite a pain to deal with. Excess heat, performance issues, ghost touch, etc. From my experience, waiting a year or two until you can genuinely afford a proper device is much better than to use an android phone for a year, just to then realise that it sucks and getting a new one. It may not seem like it, but do this 2 or 3 times and you could easily have gotten something proper for the same price. Technology moves fast nowadays, and most hardware will be outdated in a year or two. That makes it incredibly important to invest into a device that you can count on for a while. I used my first iPad for well over 3 years and it initially cost me about 450€. In the same timeframe I have gone through 2 or 3 budget to mid level phones (which I didn't even play games on). So, through these 3 years I paid about twice as much for day to day use smartphones than I did for a (at the time that I bought it) top tier gaming device that I had several hours of playtime on every day. For me personally getting a proper gaming device that stays at home and then using a cheap'ish budget phone for day to day use has been the way to go. As I said, I cannot make a decision for you, all I want to say is, think about long term. Also, keep in mind that I live in western europe, so chances are that the things I am saying don't make much sense for where you live and how prices work over there.
for some.. the tencent branded phones (Blackshark and Asus ROG) have 120hz and the upcoming samsung models also do I believe.. aside from that there are probably some smaller brands that also manufacture those, but I couldnt tell you any on the fly

Play on a phone and you will know what pay to win is really like.
The advantage of 120 fps is nothing compared to what ipads have over phones.
Plus in the real matches with variable pings the advantage of 120 fps is pretty much negligible.
Well Damn its so good video
would be a ton of wasted time if it wasnt xd
Great video, you explained it well.
thanks, i hope so
This is simple knowledge (If you know what your doing it doesn’t matter what device you’re on)
uhm..
well..
common sense, expert opinions, maths and performance say otherwise
I agree with you! Devs should remove 120. Or put 90 FPS instead of 120 cuz there is too much difference btw 60 and 120
they shouldnt..
Using lower frames than hertz produces stuttering and tearing...
Your comment is just wrong
and the biggest advantage of 120fps ipad pro is screen delay.
@@PHiNiX haha dude you won't believe how it is playing c ops on an android these days , us mobile players can literally identify people playing on ipad by the way they kill us 💀
in short terms, Just have better reaction time and reflexes to beat 120 as a 60
thats not how it works..

I just wanted to see some C ops gameplay not an educational content, GREAT VIDEO :)
thank you
Good video but you fryed my brain with all the information 😂
sorry about that xd
i thought eyes worked either on 120 or 240 fps wow
This then works up to 240fps
From that point onwards, the difference it makes, is not worth the effort for both your brain and probably your bank account as well..
So cringe man
I had never lost a 1v1, even tho I have a low end android device which can hardly provide me with 45-50fps, but I still kept winning, against players with better devices, mostly cuz i have good set of reflexes that I very much love, let it be pubg or critical ops, except for one time when I played against a 120fps c-ops player, I thought it would be no big deal and challenged him like I always do to good players I see, but he was so insanely fast in 1v1, even my reflexes had me lose hope of winning that 1v1 :{

The devs wont do what we want.
I think that they are trying their best, but they simply dont play their game enough to know what they do and their community is oversaturated with toxic 7 year olds who want free credits..
that this community was especially "summoned" by past mistakes from the devs themselves, is a fact, but nothing that can be changed afterwards
Actually devs changed the pov and it destroyed the game for ipad players
it really didnt..
the game has a lot of substencial issues that are so much fucking bigger then viewmodels..
@@PHiNiX no old ones were better what ur saying is bullshit
it doesnt matter which were "better"
its important for them to not give an advantage to any particular side of the playerbase..
You cant complain about 120fps on one hand, but support broken viewmodels on the other
@@PHiNiX changes like what are more important?
movement speed decrease aka fixing 120fps being p2w
fixing run and gun
changing the crouch animation
gun balancing
anticheat
update ingame settings to standards later then 2015
fixing software relates ghost touch
millions of compatibility issues between maps and new models
to just name a few
there is more then enough, you just gotta try to see it aswell
So what he is basically saying is that 120fps is better and you would probably lose a gunfight against a 120fps player.
Here's my case
Today after the recent update while i was grinding in a qd my device suddenly went to 80 fps (it has always been a 60fps device) i was shocked and as i know cops now have 120 fps compatible in phone's too i was curious to see if i can set my target framerate to 120 or 90, but sad, its only showing 60 and 30.
It could help a lot cause i saw the noticable heavy difference between 60 and 80 fps.
maybe the devs arent aware of your device being supposed to be capable of having 90fps.. try to hit them up through the ingame support or the reddit
@@PHiNiX thanks a lot for ur attention brother, I'll hit u up with a update, ill do the same as u said
np mate..
But arnt the servers 64 tick servers in cops or something? Or is this different than csgo does it make a difference
the server refreshes the position of players 64 times per second in csgo matchmaking and 128 times in esea or faceit
in c-ops it is 20
20 is still usable, but the devs have moved to a rather fast paced gameplay in the recent years and with increasing the difference between the player sizes of being crouched and not crouched, together with the higher movement speed, the increased running and jumping accuracy aswell as the removed cooldown times for accuracy resets, this makes a tickrate of 20 simply not sufficient so synchronize all of that..
Because of device limitations (fps on both ios and android would suck if they did) they are not able to updgrade the servers and therefore the only way to fix it, is changing the earlier mentioned features to suit what the servers are capable of consistently working with..
Do you think a person with 144fps have a big advantage of someone with 120fps
Its not pay to win. Pay2Win means if u pay something to the developers (critical force) u will get more powerful weapons/damage than others who dont pay them. In this case you are paying for the iPad which is apple's money and not critical ops
no..
pay to win means that spending more money will get you a sizeable ingame advantage
who gets that money does not matter in the slightest..
@@PHiNiX They added 120 to make the game smoother and did not add anything else special only for 120
@@sea9025 noone said that they added anything for 120fps..

Some 60 FPS players can compete against 120s but you need a really different play style
true.. but the issue that I rather see is, that there is no way that its done consistently..
Who else has 144 fps?

have you send this to the c ops developer team?
well.. obviously
dude this is like saying csgo is pay2win cause someone plays on 140 fps while orders play on 200-500 fps ofc the players with better device will have the advantage I don’t think u needed to make a whole video on it it’s just normal to be this way
Issue is, that the mechanical skill is mainly based on the aim assist, which is just bs

it doesnt really matter who gets the profit, the only thing that matters, for the definition "Pay2Win" that you can increase your odds of winning substencially by paying more money, which is clearly the case in C-Ops..

Basically the gap between a good and a bad player is too small, but if you are a bad player on 60fps, you will likely still be a bad player on 120.

thats literally what I say in the video lmao
You’re stupid as hell lmfao
No your saying that the person with 120 can see faster than the person with 60. That’s just fake information.
thanks to the way too high movement speed, this is the effect that is has on a simplified level.
Everyone who disagrees with them, either was dogshit on 60fps and cant tell apart the advantages their new device gives and their own improvement as a result of it, or they have simply not played the game before getting an ipad, which should disqualify them from taking part in an argument like this.
tablet 60 fps or realme 8 120 fps or 90 fps
depends..
for just c-ops?
iPads are massively op in c-ops, mainly because maps are designed around pixel angels and in many cases not even seeing your enemy is a valid concern.
do you plan on creating content?
