- I'll show you how to replace the coolant (antifreeze) expansion tank and you can use this on how to do a coolant flush. This is a multi-use video that be used in reference for all the jobs related to coolant tank, coolant pump or sensor. The tools, parts, and procedure is all shown. I replaced the coolant expansion tank because it was leaking from the overflow valve. The car being worked on is a C-Class w203 C320 but the procedure is the same for various other Mercedes like E320 CLK320 C320 ML320 S320 SLK320.
Just saved $300 thanks a lot everything was easy except draining. Did not want to mess with drainage so I put a heavy towel and took hose off that way some spills on towel but not much.
Thank you for this! Really helped me, luckily the part arrived via Amazon the next day and I only needed a couple of tools!
Ty man this was a very well made video!
Explicación perfecta. 🎉
I am no mechanic however this looks relatively easy to me!
Hi there. Detailed video , Ty! Stupid question though. How do you implement the distilled water with the coolant fluid?
Depends on the coolant you buy. Some coolant is "diluted", which means its pre-mixed with water. Some coolant is "concentrated" and you have to mix it with water, usually 50% concentrated coolant, 50% distilled water.
Awesome thanx Buddy
hah i have exactly the problem with cracked pipe. I thing the hose hanging there is just too heavy and moving a lot freely so with the time that little pipe cracks. i'll support the hose this time
Same problem !!! Out of nowhere i had a message with low cooling water, with fan noise. I stop and look it was the little pipe that was broken. And i think as you, i think it’s the not attached hose which broke it
I just need to be confident to drain the coolant without making a mess
Thinks veuillezm informerde la position de pmh sensor pour w 203
Thanks,m
Very Welcome!
